it's a pretty KNOWN fact that Professor Hulk.....DOESN'T increase his strength by getting madder.....he only operates with his base strength. Not to mention Hercules was sparring with him, not going all out.

Merged hulk did get stronger with anger, he had a mental block placed after Hulk 424 that made him revert to Banner when he got too angry.

Yeah, Professor Hulk gets stronger. ODG's respect thread even had a section dedicated to it lmao.

KNOWN!

Yes, correct, here's the page from ODG's thread:

He certainly wasn't "one of the weakest" Hulk incarnations, either:

Good time to mention that proper Maestro had no trouble amping himself with rage:

Lol... I see the Hulk discussion is going on. The same Hulk who couldn't amp. Then, its not canon to the real, 616 Hulk which makes all of this debating irrelevant. One day you'll find something to use against me for Hulk but this ain't it chief. Hulk is still the most powerful being in any comic. The Hulk that can amp. The same Hulk that treated Hercules like an ant 🐜 and swatted him away with a flex of his muscle. The same Hulk that Herc punched and hurt his hand. Hulk is treating high tier beings like fodder but again, a low showing will happened to 616 Hulk and then you should parade.

But their pasts are still the same, right? Depending on WHEN the differences branch out.

Happened like a decade and a half before the WWH.

We can't assume their pasts are identical. Old Man Logan universe was supposed to match that of 616 at the time of being published... yet even that was proven false, when the universe got further explored by new comics.

That is why we have all those forum rules and the non-canon policy.

Let's face it --- Marvel and DC have a hard time caring about consistency and controlling events in a single confined universe, let alone when the universes are interwined with each other.

Yeah. It's just....I honestly can't see him as weakened. There's no such thing as a 'weakened' Hulk, IMO, as long as he is allowed to become angry. Ok, so he can't get to level 10,000 or whatever due to Banner limiting himself, but he can still get to level 9,000.

And Herc specifically said that the only reason Hulk wasn't tapping into his full potential - was because he knew he was outclassed. IOW - even if he gave in and went full berserker mindless, Maestro Herc would still beat him.

Even when Hercules wasn't trying to kill him, and Hulk was 😂

Lmao coming right after Stilt posted proof of Maestro amping, this is hilarious.

Hulk is Hulk, no?

Musn't....let....Stilt....ignore this......

Yeah no Savage Hulk or any other persona can increase their strength as the fight continues Professor Hulk doesn't. .either way this takes place in universe 9200, not the 616 universe.

Preview of the upcoming issue ten as the filename says, yes?

Should I start calling thorbags little birds from now on? biscuits biscuits biscuits biscuits biscuits

Indeedy! Celey is still clinging to the argument that something is blah blah blah....but we all know it's just writers not giving af.

What's the argument?

There's none. Rage and Sin were positive that Thor didn't have any extra power, and that the Allfather title was just a title, and it came with no extra power.

No what was I clinging to?

This, exactly.

It's the same principle as this:

Doomsday Rex didn't suddenly lose his evolving powers here. He simply realiized he was outclassed.

Dark post doesn't make one bit of sense but hey, as long as he believes it, that's ok.

You took a more reasonable approach, simply claiming that there's something iffy about Thor's powers - that part is still being told by the writer, but seems correct. We just need more details.

Even if it's not 100% Odinpower, it's still a huge amp, though --- as the book has already showed us.

Iirc Sin had a similar take due to Odin's depowerment.
