All I gotta say is how many void/abyss gods could ther be? There's a new one popping up every minute.

I won't be surprised if Sentry's Void is revealed to be connected to this "Abyss" hullabaloo down the road.

Closest thing I can remember is him bathing in poisonous waters.

One was when Seidring w/Odinforce trapped him in a bubble of poison liquid, but was able to break out. He seemed pretty resistant considering the power behind the attack.

Another was when he fought Fenris in a poisonous river called Gjoll.

The river was stated to be "deathly venomous".

👆

That first one is super impressive.

Quite, but I'm saying due to his unique nature and their relationship, what Knull did to Sentry isn't say, strictly ABC logic.
And neither does it (I guess, because all people care about are battleboard feats), strictly apply to a forum fight.

I disagree, those weren’t celestial. They were already killed and Knull was reanimating their armor with his symbiotes.

They're not quite standsrd Celestials, but they're Celestials nonetheless.

Badedd on what he's done in the past, one can say he corrupts them. They most likely have a semblance of their power since we saw Knull do it in SS Black when he enslaved 3 unnamed gods with his abyss powers. They fought Surfer with very distinct abilities which were most likely inherent to their original powers.
He also briefly made Surfer his slave and did not have to kill him. Ego saved him from being a thrall.
And just look at his symbiotes. He doesn't kill them. He enslaves them.

I was about to adress this, I agree plus it was just 1 and not 3.

Yeah maybe, I'd be careful to use it, but the rest of the comic made it clear that Knull was basically unstoppable.

That was directly after he took out Sentry:

Cap's idiocy there is priceless 😂

Even Robbie Reyes was punching through dead celestials.

Not in this story.

Sentry would one-shot kill the JL as based on this feat. Superman especially. He's the second strongest character on the team next to Wonder Woman.

Easily. 💪🏻💪🏻

And based on Endless Winter, Batman would tank him 👆

You haven't showed an example yet. people keep dropping examples that happened in team books like that meant something. We’re taking about story arcs where villains interact with another hero than the one they debuted against not team battles or one off appearances

Right. Except, that's not what you originally asked for. So you're moving the goalposts again.

And why don't team books matter, exactly?

I said they don’t do it like Marvel. They don’t. In general, In MAJORITY dc villains seems tailored to their heroes.

Which is what happens in Marvel as well, as long as we are speaking in generalities.

Yeah no. Most villains move around and **** with other heroes especially the young heroes or heroes like Captain Marvel who don’t really have too many villains of her own.

Sentry beat 3 Celestials EASILY. That puts him in the realms above Galactus and Franklin.

Reed beat a Celestial with a random gun he pulls out of his closet, and a random enchantment on a war axe kills another one.

Celestials have been big cosmic jokes for awhile now, wouldn't surprise me if Hulk smashed one.

idk. It could be the void ripping out of the sentry?

So much overcompensation.

the Superman that knocked out barbatos? Or the alternate that Hecate said that he’s best that world has to offer.
He was beating the crap out of ww amped by Hecate until Hecate cast doubt by telling him to strike ww because he fights ww when he’s fighting her.
Sentry doesn’t have magic to hurt Superman. Superman tears him up like he did doomsday.

I was ribbing but I seriously have to ask, why did you bring that up willingly?

Hectate's powers were driving Superman to anger. She wanted him to go at her with deadly intent. She palmed his punches anyway and ripped out his heart. Why do you think that reflects better on him? We already know he's the physically strongest on the JL.

Two panels later, she was restrained by Barda and Captain Atom IIRC.

Agreed. Batman is the JL's most dangerous.

Wonder Woman is the strongest 1000% at this point, and Flash is the fastest. Green Lantern and John are the most versatile. Superman is the most well rounded, followed by Aquaman. 😂

Just because Thor needs two amps to be relevant to Hulk and Sentry doesn't mean you overcompensate it with Superman.

Even in Death Metal Superman straight up oneshotted Darkfather when Diana was struggling with him.
