Hal fought Zod and Cyborg Superman. He even legitimately defeated Zod unded two yellow suns.

Superman faced Sinestro before that. He looked a lot worse for it then Hal, frankly, which is a credit to the writers willingness to make an off brand villian look credible against their flagship hero.

Back Adam and the Marvel family villians have had confrontations with Superman since the Pre Crisis era. Flash Villian Hector Hammond was a thorn in Green Lanterns side, teaming up with Grodd. Kyle Rayner took out Mongul, as did Hal, as did Flash (Mongul classic became a bit of a joke)

Villian crossovers happened all the time, since all eras of DC.

Except Zod LET Hal beat him but back to the point. They don’t switch around as often and a few of the examples oh gave took place in team books

Blake also says that anything Thor can do he can do too. Its clear he is as strong as All Father Thor.

That's not what you said or what I pointed out as flawed.

Please scroll above and read your own incorrect math.

This is weird, the way Cates wrote it.

If Blake ALWAYS had the OF in him - what was the point of Thor becoming a weak powerless human with a limp? If the persona he transformed into - Blake - was capable of doing what Thor has never done, which is make the Serpent his b!tch?

Because Thor fought the Serpent. Donald Blake depowered and back stabbed him.

Here, it shared its power with Donald Blake, making it weaker, and him stronger. Turns out, he has the OF inside him as a creation of Odin, and drained him further and beat him

The Justice League owned by a bootleg Frost Giant lol.

Yeah, that is what I mean. Blake suddenly having power - any power - just because he is a creation of Odin, kinda doesn't make sense if you're sending your arrogant son to Earth as a helpless mortal with a limp, is my point.

It's a completely random and ridiculous retcon. It basically makes him an Immortal. The Odin Force is at the core of all Asgardians but I guess it makes sense, the Odin Force is a divine power that can grant life/make souls unlike regular magic/science:

Exactly - a random and ridiculous retcon, which is what I was driving at. He should've stayed what he was, which was a human mortal with a limp to teach Thor humility.

This has suddenly just cheapened the entire origin story of Thor. He was sent to Earth to learn our ways....in a vessel that, had it wanted to, was capable of backstabbing and depowering one of Thor's greatest enemies, then go on to solo Asgard etc etc.

It's like retconning Batman to suddenly have Darkseid's Omega power within his cells, and him suddenly awakening this power and soloing the JLA in open combat.

Interesting that WW needed a GL shield to protect her....whilst Supeyman is just chilling outside.....

Where's carver 😂

Lol, can Wonder Woman even survive in space unaided?

Remember when Thor beat Ymir and Surtur with the God Blast via BFR? Thor + God Blast >>>> Justice League and JSA confirmed and cannon.

Lol no she can't 😂. Needs a helmet

Tbf, with BFR a lot of characters can win. That's why I like it lol.

Btw, with your view on poison gas affecting Hercules' internals....would that extend to Thor too?

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ ONLY Recently DC has been switching select villains around others (Deathstroke, Year of the Villain had some switching, Batmans roguevsuch as Black Mask) but not to the extent that Marvel has. Marvel villians are overall villians not just to them but to everyone.

Hell Killmonger has messed with Deadpool, Iron Man, Daredevil and Captain America before.

Goalpost moving is bad. You shouldn't do that.

Also, it isn't true that DC has only been doing it recently. You can go back decades.

Ouch.

No, Thor is way more durable to a variety of exotic items. I mean sure, why not, if a writer wanted it to happen, it could, but he has way more showings of surviving way worse and being immune to way worse. For example, the Presence transformed Europe and many of the Avengers with his radiation:

Or Decay, an Exemplar (Equivalent of Juggernaut of another Elder God):

Those are kind of iffy because they rely on his immortality, which arguably Hercules can match, but we have other instances. For example, when he absorbed the God Bomb, which would have literally killed every God that had ever lived or will live (It detonated across time and space, meaning it included Olympians):

I thought it was the two Mjolnirs who were absorbing the God Bomb, not he himself.

But yeah, your first two examples (one of which even includes Herc) doesn't exactly strike me with confidence....

Edit: in this scan:

The JLA are all blasted away......EXCEPT FOR BATMAN 😈

Once more, Batman reigns supreme.

He absorbed the God Bomb into Mjolnir's and himself. Or via Mjolnir into himself. One of the two, regardless, way beyond anything possibly done by anything discussed here.

Yes, but can we focus on how amazing Batman is doing in that scan 😂

Also, where are you in the Hulk/Thor Win/Loss thread???

You haven't showed an example yet. people keep dropping examples that happened in team books like that meant something. We’re taking about story arcs where villains interact with another hero than the one they debuted against not team battles or one off appearances

Can Speedball bounce through a complexity like a hex spell?
