Silver Age Superman being canon again doesn't make Rebirth Superman be him. It has nothing to do with canon. It's just like in New 52, where the Pre-Flashpoint and Post-Flashpoint versions of Superman were separate entities until Mr. Mxyzptlk later helped them to reunify following New 52 Superman's death. There's no reason to just assume anything other than Silver Age Superman obviously still being from a separate continuity and existing in his own separate Universe within DC's Metaverse.
