The planet was already out of phase with reality. It'd do no such thing. If Hyperion could just catch it anytime they want, why wait for weeks to do it anyway?

You're an idiot, Ironman 3030 states "SLIGHTLY" so although slightly out of phase, there's BARELY going to be a change in weight/mass
Do you even know what phasing out of reality means troll?
the point of this exercise was to align the planet with Earth, so that involved them perfectly setting it up. Even though it was out of phase, There's nothing to indicate that its speed also changed, so they had precious moments to align it.
It wasn't an exercise and the Avengers didn't have manpower to stop the planet before Rhodey Stark gave them the plan to stop it.
ACTIVATING the machine set it to phase right through, and as for stopping the planet, there's two things.
ONE was what Hawkeye stated here:
This was an intentionally thrown planet. It'S possible that they could simply be attempting to fool who or what ever was responsible for this, and try to fins out.

😂
TWO, what makes more sense; In one alternate timeline the Avengers destroyed the planet. Here by merging it they had more options with the acquired rogue planet:
They could destroy the planets by only anti matter bombs. Even someone like Thanos who was much stronger than Thor/Hyperion couldn't destroy a planet under Hickman.
To sum it up, The machine was there to embed and set the planet to phase through the Earth with no harm.
Hyperion was there to catch it on the other end and hold it in place long enough for Thor to embed the phased planet.
By embedding the phased planet, not only was the Earth saved, but they acquired a way to get new reosurces/energy etc.
LMAO.

ACTUALLY there are a couple of stuff to show that this same Avengers contingent could have stopped/destroyed the planet if they wanted to.
0ne: Ironman 3030 stated that the timeline she had saw the Avengers destroy the planet. Given that she went back one month prior to give the heads up, in that timeline most likely the Avengers didn't get a heads up of the planet early. Funny thing is the drive only told they destroyed the planet. It DIDN'T tell how they did it or whether they had no other option, nor when they got the headsup.
Two) An anomaly 3030 noted when she landed at Avengers Tower, was Hyperion himself. He wasn't supposed to be there (atleast on that timeline if I'm correct) Hyperion, Thor and Hulk can stop a planet, but Hyperion is the only one who can so it on space without any ground to hold him as he can fly. Besides the plan she brought which involved stopping the planet may not have involved Hyperion initially, indicating that Thor or Hulk may have had played a part there.
Three: EVEN phased out of reality, they still had a plan to catch and harness the planet. so that required someone stopping the planet as it phased through.
Besides that though, NO ONE destroyed a planet under their own ability during Hickmans run far as I know.
Ironman 3030 notes that Hyperion is an anomaly in the timeline she came too:
Her plan was to anyway catch the plan and align it. Given that Hyperion was never in those plans (since he was noted to be an anomaly), most likely Hulk or Thor would have been responsible for the stop:
😂 you moron

If the avengers and everyone could destroy planets willy nilly, why did both used anti matter bombs to destroy planets?
Also why did Stark phased the planet out before Hyperion "catched" it? Why didn't the star level Hulk simply pushed it away?
Huh, albert?

cuz their plan was to align said planet with the Earth. So Hyperion given that he can fly would be the best candidate to catch said Planet. Besides if Stark didn't phase the planet, Earth would have been virtually destroyed.
Also the Illuminati were using anti-matter bombs to destroy the planets, and they dodnt have any heavy hitters such as Thor, Hulk or Hyperion among them (Hull wasn't part of the group until the upcoming clash with the Great Society and after he put on some inhibitor to my knowledge)

Cabal including Thanos were using the same Anti matter bombs. Thanos is weaker than Hulk and Thor?

While I do admire you shitting on DC, you need to admit you've trolled this board for a whole year while having little to no knowledge about either company, lol.
