That said, the cosmic landscape does seem to be arbitrarily redefined with every new writer that decides to implement it to any significant extent. Is the Living Trbiunal the multiverse embodied or merely a function of the multiverse? Are the abstracts in general multiversal or universal?
At best you'll agree with one writer's interpretation, at worst you make your own bastardized composite from cherry-picked explanations with no consistent representation in the comics.

The thing that kinda irks me is that b list villains like the hood appear as supporting cast all over the place. So their personalities change too much with different writers handling them.
Wolverine, Batman and The Flash have the best villains
I can read about Daken, Joker, or The Rogues all day
I used to laugh at animal themed spiderman's villains, not until I started reading Venom. Both Flash Thompson and Eddie Brock are both more interesting and cooler than Spiderman in every way.
