^^^It's a personal hell!

Latest episode was good. Every time they focus on Bortus it makes the episode ten times better.

True. As a smoker i thought the Bortus plotline was hilarious.

The main story was really touching, while still being funny af. Seth knows his shit.
Also jessica Szohr looked hot as a hipster!

Bortus and husband smoking was downright perfect & hilarious. Their quarters filled with a haze of smoke cracked me up, had friends with appartment's like that way back in the day. Same with him callously smoking on the deck with not a care of the people he was smoking-out around him, too funny.

Even though I knew it was coming, I still laughed pretty hard when Bortus emptied that pillowcase.

An interesting episode exploring the dangers of idealizing people via technology... and smoking.

Yeah, I agree. That was gold. Should have been more of that, imo.

But I found the rest of the episode kind of boring, unfortunately, with Malloy falling in love with the time-capsule simulation chick.

But next episode looks like it'll be a good one. Shame we have to wait 3 FU#KING WEEKS?? WTF? 😬

Yeah, you saw the plot coming and it was overall not very exciting, but still, I enjoyed the ep myself overall.

Was this the first Malloy centered ep? Can't recall.

^ Good question, I don't think he's had too many front-and-center episodes. It seems he's served more as comic relief than a central focus.

Is it just me or is Bortus like the greatest character in the history of television? 😂

Greatest?

But he is good.

Oh yes, he's definitely up there with the greats like Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister. 👆

Good comparison, considering his race is almost Lannister bad, and Bortus is clearly at odds with a lot of Moclan culture.

^ Good point, I didn't even think of that really. I was thinking more along the lines of him being a big reason to tune into the show. It's fun to watch Tyrion.

But it's also a facetious comparison because Bortus isn't quite as charismatic. He doesn't quite have as much personality as Tyrion, yet he's still a source of great entertainment.

Havent finished watching the newest ep. but, just from the opening, i gotta say, Klyden is a bigger douche nozzle every time he comes on screen.
Great character-you-love-to-hate.

I started to watch it and my reception wasn't very good, so I opted to go to bed a bit earlier instead.

I remember it looked to be an exciting episode. I'll try to catch up soon.

The saddest thing about Klyden is that as a victim of Moclan culture forcing her to become a Male and all that, you'd think he would be far more sympathetic to the races issues like Bortus is. Instead he does stuff like get good men who only want to live arrested because he thinks it's wrong. And did the same surgery on Topa against Bortus' wishes.

I like imagining him getting shoved out of an airlock.

Finally got around to watching the latest episode 12, "Sanctuary," and it was excellent. One of the best episodes yet.

I laughed pretty hard when Dolly Parton started playing again during

Spoiler:
the shootout at the end
... 😂

This episode provides further proof that Bortus is awesome. 👆
