Obviously, Social Justice is a great thing in the general sense, even if some pervert it by taking it to the extreme in certain scenarios. It's sad that the vast majority of the good gets clumped with the occasional bad by some people and it's the bad that's focused on.

If you want an honest answer to your question about the N word and why retard seems more acceptable(though some still whine) it's because black people rank way way higher on the victimhood scale than intellectually disabled people.

It's the same reason calling a white guy a cracker is more acceptable than calling a black guy the N word.
