The trailer was meh. The cave looked cool, but, Alladdin did not look hansome AT ALL, and this just doesnt seem to be translating to live action well, from what little we see. The parrot, the monkey, the elephant, they just look too ‘real’? The fun in the cartoon was their human attributes.

Say what you want about the live action Beauty & The Beast/Jungle Book, but visually the did a good job bringing the fantastical elements to ‘life’.

Now, i may be wrong, as this was just a snippet, but it (literally) looks bland to me. And the one scene w. Smith was bad.

If this isnt even pretty/fun to look at, there’s nothing to recommend it.
