That building that Superman is carrying is most likely not solid concrete. Because if it was, it would crumble under its own weight since the point that Superman is applying Force to lift it, is ridiculously small compared to the distribution of the rest of the weight of the building.
So we must assume that, that building was way lighter than what it appears to be in order for it not to crumble under its own weight.

if it was waaayy lighter, then it most likely wouldnt have all that many stories and that long and big, as the buildings structural integrity would be suspect...😬

Inhuman is a known Superman lowballer and will come up with anything to lowball feats.

and even if as you say it was "way lighter", at what figures would you place that feat?

My post went over your head , as usual 👆

Incorrect. You stated its much less weight then we would expect because it didn't crumble apart. You can't assume that because comics and comic book movies are not based on crux points such as that.

Just a couple examples off the top of my head.

Thor's hammer on a coat rack is weightless, then Thors hammer on Loki is crushing him.

Superman island lift, the island was vastly bigger then the point of lift left largely stayed intact.

nah. You just had to come up with something way lighter than usual.

He was mocking h1's argument style. hence his quoting of me talking about h1 habit of using RL physics to downplay feats.

Fair enough

lol.
My post was a parody of H1's stupid biased posts with his low-balling logic he makes to discredit characters he argues against.

I noted above my mistake

Its even funnier reading it back in the context of h1 saying it😂

I actually forgot to throw in some made-up numbers like he usually does.

yeah i see that now.But ehh...
lets forever uphold the legacy of the great h1. 😉

[btw, h1 is supposed to appreciate my adding 'great' to his growing list of titles].

😉

He should, great is just 3 steps away from legendary.

Is he gonna chime in at some point?

I hope so.

220,000 gross tons is about 100,000 tons based on displacement

Not a ship expert, but from what that says, gross tonnage is how much a ship can carrry based on its internal volume.

😕

Lol

Dont forget to back it up with your own calculations.

It’s whatever, we can debate endlessly on unrealistic movie feats or call it a day. I’m down with the latter. Most of the time these debates are silly because it’s all writers intent, context, audience and reader bias and we don’t ever have true numbers for 99% of this stuff.

I’m not debating movie anything. I’m just saying do your due dilligence first before presenting things, s’all I’m saying. You seem to get quite a few things wrong because you state things before googling the subject and this kinda behavior reduces the credibility of your arguments as they may well be based from incorrect information. Especially when you’re correcting ppl’s facts and you get it completely wrong because you couldn’t be bothered to do a little research first.

No offense or anything, but a little googling goes a long way.
