I don't think they do buy into it. The native american thing has ended up actively hurting Warren and is generally seen as a dumb distraction, even some native american groups told her to knock it off.
This is the first I'm hearing about the Beto thing so I won't comment on that. But in general I think voters don't really care about things like this one way or another outside of a vocal few.

You think the NA thing is going to matter all that much in the bigger picture? Lolz. If the focus is on attacking her for being whatever percent NA instead of her political platform, and ripping apart her politics, it will likely backfire.
All she has to do is say "I grew up believing one thing due to family lore; I took a genetic test; that's that. Now let's focus on what matters, the country." Take the highroad there and consistently stick with that tactic there.
