Catholic Kids get blamed for something they didnt do

@Surt, just remember these standards you're setting the next time you post a video of "Leftist says something" or "Black person is caught being Black" etc. All I ask.

Anyone else feel like this whole thing has the potential for a pretty funny joke. Something like-

A black hebrew Israelite, a douchey white kid and an old indian man walk into a bar, bartender says hey ass holes stop playing thay drum and smirking like d-bags or im gonna hire that black hebrew guy to smite u in the name of god. Badum ch.

I might need to work on the punchline

Is this you agreeing with me we should apply this standard? Or merely saying "practice what you preach" ? Or both? It would be nice if it was either the former or both.

Why is the kid a douche? Not saying he is or isn't, just curious.

Would a smiling black kid be a douche too? This is the part where you say he would even though you know deep down you'd never classify him as such.

But we're making assumptions again and we JUST learned that shit like that is problematic.

Why would the girls edit out that part where it calls into question if the kid is from Covington?

And the kid is a turd, but we have zero evidence he is Covington and I'm sorry: we need it. Maybe if these kids weren't smeared so bad it'd be different, but we need it.

Well, assumptions at this point is irrelevant. The kid acted alone. And his action, while sexist and stupid and makes him out as quite a turd, did not target anyone so it was not “harassment” w/c means it was mostly quite benign (tho very worrisome if the kid really thinks this, I would keep my neices/daughter away from asshats like that).

Does it matter if he is a student or not? Personlly, it shouldn’t. Other than maybe I feel that the school needs to have a sexual harassment seminar with the kid to nip this in the bud.

Is there a possibility that this is just some random kid or (worse yet) some leftist kid trying to smear Covington maybe a friend of the girl who took the video? It’s maybe possible. But personally, I find that unlikely. But maybe possible, I dunno. Best thing to do to find out would be to doxx Rape-y McFurhat and find out who he is. Or maybe the school should come out with a statement denying that he attends Covington? At this point, it’s on them to prove the story wrong tbh as they are the one with the information.

To be fair, at first you'd have probably said it's unlikely the native american was just trying to smear them, right? Be honest.

I dont actually have a problem with Backfire enjoying 3 scoops of delicious iced cream. I just thought it mildly humorous to make it seem like i was offended by his hitler/genocide comment, only to discover thay my faux outrage was directed instead towards his excessive consuption of unhealthy sweets.

From the initial video? No. Actually the second I saw it, my brain went “sooo the kid mocking him by smiling and standing still?”. Didn’t sit well with me so I decided to wait it out. I didn’t consider the possibility that the NA guy was trying to smear them, no. More like that the story was grossly exaggerated so I best do more research.

But like I said, Covington has the power to correct the fact that the student doesn’t attend there. It’s meaningless tho as what the kid did was sexist but benign (as it is victimless). I doubt the media would run with it too much as it would make them look desperate.

That kid's at the age where it's probably safe to assume he's a douchebag. Most kids his age are.

Well, it’s good that we agree then that the kid did nothing *******-y.

I mean, how do they correct it? Think about that. Let's assume for the moment it wasn't a Covington student. Them going "he isn't a student" would not be accepted by the left. They'd need to track down the kid to prove he doesn't go there.

I just feel like after all the bullshit and smears we should need more evidence.

@ nib

Yep

But id also have to agree with Backfire in thinking

That wouldn’t be too hard tho. Teachers tend to know their students. If none of the teachers acknowledge his existence, chances are he’s not a student. They can simply say “there are no records of said student attending Covington”. If ppl don’t believe them, then there really is no changing these ppl’s minds don’t you think?

For me, it’s meaningless. It doesn’t change any of the narratives. It’s one kid yelling out something stupid (w/c happens ALL the time) to a camera. There was no victim so it’s mostly benign and, true or not, they can’t blame an entire school/student body cuz one student is an idiot.

So just to be clear, generalizations are now okay? I'm not arguing they are or are not, I just want to be clear cuz it seems like the left is against shit until they aren't. My bad if you aren't a leftist, you just talk like one.

Yes but you realize people are using this to try to demonize Covington so why shouldn't we demand proof after all that has happened? I just don't get why we shouldn't.

Oh indubitably. Kids at that agree are absolute douches. Well a lot of them anyway. Not all. I know a couple of good kids in all honesty (my nephew/neice for example). W/c means that any outrage over kids being douches is wholly disingenouos.

Yeah, but most kids don't grow up to be prolific date-rapist in college. This kid has that written all over his face. Mark my words, this isn't the last we've heard of Smirkboy.

Yeah but...have you ever seen someone complain over the "boys will be boys" logic? But now we're using the "teens will be teens" logic. I'm not disagreeing, just making an observation.

Then they’re desperate and proof or no proof there is no way you can convince them otherwise anyway. IF they feel that one kid yelling something stupid is enough to condemn an entire student body/school, then it says more about them than Covington.

I mean it’s ok to ask for proof. But at this point, the only ppl who can prove/disprove this is Covington itself. To move the discussion forward, we should just assume that their assumption is correct (as it is the most likely) as their assumption being correct doesn’t really change much of anything.
