If they were being sued for 250 million and settled that means they settled for less than that.

As for how much? We probably will never know the figure, just like with the victory over CNN. Could be hundreds of thousands of dollars, could be in the low millions. Even paying 5 mil is better than a huge trial, the discovery period, and potentially paying hundreds of millions.

But I doubt we will ever know the true figures.

I told people and vendors at work this news. While I fall on the left, I fall on the side of facts and science, not media malpractice and dishonesty.

People were shocked but also happy with this result. A very comfortable majority of Americans are tired of the dishonest MSM, independent of party affiliation.

I'm glad, but I hope an actual lesson was learned here and unfortunately I doubt it was.

Yeah, the more I think about it...the more I think this is a win for both parties involved. This is a victory specifically for Nick Sandmann. He was never going to get 250 million. It's also a victory for the WaPo in a way. They avoid the discovery process, etc. And we will never know the amount, so people can speculate that it was anything from a couple million to merely covering court costs and attorney fees.

Has CNN changed since they had to settle? Nope.
