Yeah, Rebels handled Vader really well. Kinda shocking considering how poorily it portrayed Maul or how poorly TCW treated Dooku and Grievous.

Seems the CGI shows just do Star Wars better than the movies. Clone Wars was excellent too.

What damage would their lightstabers even do? It would penetrate Smaug easily, but its too small to do any significant damage.

Smaug would turn Vader to ash for the record. Movie Vader does not have a single feat where he deflects a torrent of flame the size Smaug could put out, nor does he have a feat of stopping a high-speed monster that is longer than four blue whales.
