Funny how red and blue align with right left.
But the "real" red pill, is both "sides" realizing if we've been deceived once, twice, or several times, as we HAVE, that maybe we should all question the authority of both "sides".
I mean, considering the United States government has done such things as irradiate it's own citizens for experimental purposes. Or, sterilized the "feeble minded". Or, allowed people to be slaughtered for financial interests.
All of these things, and many more, are recorded and acknowledged.
That's why I sympathize with conspiracy theorists, and flirt as one myself lately. When you've been burned once, what assurance do you have that you won't be burned again? Are we supposed to put blind faith in the captain of the ship? Why? How has those in power earned our trust?
I'm so disappointed in the left. They claim to be critical thinkers, yet all they really seem to care about is critically looking at the right, or anyone they consider "beneath" them. Squabbling over nothing of consequence, really.

You're right. And Democratic redditors would mock you for being an "enlightened centrist" but that's dishonest.
You're not a centrist. Both are corrupt corporatist warmongers.
Both wear the mangled flesh masks of "liberty" and "rights" on their faces, hoping that their masks make them look like angels. But their grotesque smiles show through the bits of flesh sloughing off their faces, obscuring those toothy faux-smiles as they declare, "We are angels. Listen to our angelic songs." Their invitation to support their slaughter.
