Hal vs Current Sentry

So what stops Hal from sucking Sentry into his ring, and using his godlike powers there to trap/beat him?

I mean, aside from the fact GL's almost never do this. But it IS an ability they have, and have for decades.

Apparently in the new issue, it was confirmed that Hal created an entire universe inside his ring. Bob would be real happy in there

How big is the universe he created?

That's how it was then, too. They're bringing it from the PC era into the modern era,

Which is great.

PC Hal could stop time, easily skyfather level

Sentry, Hal may not be able to put him down

Nah... Sentry would fly through his defenses, and choke the life out of him. All that other stuff is fluff.

Hal.

Has current Sentry appeared again after flying off into space at the end of Lemire's series?

Not only did that version not appear again, but Sentry did appear again after that, and it was his golden form again lol.

Pulling the Sentry into his ring world wouldn't actually do anything. Sentry is an extremely elusive concept, created by Bob Reynold's mind. It's like killing him, burying the body, and finding out that there was no body in the first place. Hal isn't beating something like the Sentry unless he finds a way to beat Bob first.

Sentry has been BFR before. Not that hal needs to do that.

no limit fallacy is always applied to sentry, even when realitywarper is gone

If Hal can blast through Krona a cosmic level being with all the emotional entities

sentry would disintegrate to no molecules left

Hal simply overpowers Sentry, as hes more powerful and formidable.

I.... Agree.

Does one truly need to have no limits to defeat Hal now? Sentry is simply too powerful for Hal.

Based on what, considering he has zero feats superior to Hal?

Based on Hal can die, will die , and the Sentry can not die. He can come back from absolute obliteration, and is in fact a puppet body constructed by Bob's mind, which has the power to shatter Hal's constructs and shields. It would only be a matter of time before the Sentry who lives several seconds into the future overpowers Hal, and he doesn't actually have to be limitless to do so. Hal is overmatched and has nothing to stop Sentry permanently.

What issue?

Marvel Knights 20th issue 6

Again, it was playing with timelines and had Kingpin slapping Doom around and all kinds of stupid like that so I dont know how serious one can take it.

as stated Hal can simply conquer Bob's mind with his far superior willpower. Just as he has actual Cosmic beings well beyond Sentry, such as the embodiment of Death.

Sentry would become Hal's Herald.
