Looks like the democrats picked up republican John Kasich to speak at the convention.

Makes sense, Kasich and Biden have basically the same (bad) politics.

As far Biden's current platform aside from identity politics you can see he realigned many of his policies with Bernie, so I don't know his entire platform but at least he realized taking some from Bernie would be good and it would also give him some easy votes, it was strategically well played.

Yeah, when you have a president who never won the popular vote, you know the majority of Americans are not aligned with his racism and culture wars.

I'm starting to think Biden could win North Carolina and maybe even more...

At this stage, anything is possible. Truml will rally, my own opinion is he can only rally his own deluded supporters and that may be even for detrimental to him.

Republican John Kasich Will Reportedly Speak At Democratic National Convention For Joe Biden

John Kasich, the former Republican governor of Ohio who opposed President Donald Trump for the 2016 GOP nomination, is reportedly planning to speak at next month’s Democratic National Convention in support of Joe Biden, who is currently far ahead of the president in polling. -snip

Heeheehee

Welll Biden is talking about the economy, jobs, healthcare and equal rights. Trump just spouts out conspiracy nonsense that nobody cares about.

I agree one hundred per cent. Except no one cares about the conspiracy shit. I can name a half dozen or so nuts here it is very important to.

Disagree, his supporters care about those conspiracies nonsense rants; it's why he continues to do it three+ years into his term. They don't check his bullshit, so he's emboldened to proceed business as usual.

edit: Whirly ninja'd me to it

You mean like the Russian conspiracy you two believe in?

Yup, right now the only thing that MIGHT (that's a BIG might) save Trump is that there might be silent voters out there still or ppl that were heavily democrat and switch due to riots, perhaps.

Nah, most Trumpers are very vocal. They are not a silent majority, as the popular vote showed last time, they are a very vocal minority.

If Biden can win the popular vote like Clinton did but shift 70-75K votes in a few key states, he can win it like Clinton could have in 2016. I forget his name, but some Republican election professional mathed it down to 2016 being that close of a race.

But it's looking like Biden will carry a few states Clinton failed to pull in 2016 to the above might me moot.

Nah, not true.

A new Trump campaign ad depicting a police officer being attacked by protesters is actually a 2014 photo of pro-democracy protests in Ukraine

President Donald Trump's reelection campaign released a new Facebook ad with an image of a group of protesters attacking a police officer alongside the words "public safety vs chaos & violence."

But that photo is actually from a pro-democracy protest in Kyiv, Ukraine, in 2014. The photographer, Mstyslav Chernov, confirmed to Business Insider that it is his photo from six years ago. -snip

Oh Trumpers, same shit-games as 2016.

I’m wondering what Trumpers have to do with this other than you saying stupid things half assed
