Trump had to rally the re-election of a Kentucky govenor and the Republicans still lost! That's how bad Trump is doing.
I saw another similar situation where Trump rallied for a candidate and that candidate won. It was recent, too. Slips my mind which state and district, however.

Are you thinking of Tubberville vs Sessions? Cos that was the primary; they're both Republicans.
Though Tubberville is expected to beat Jones the Democrat incumbent. It was expected that Jones' term would be short lived after Jones beat the Trump-backed Roy Moore in 2018.

I never liked Jeff Sessions. You Trumpers on the other hand went on to defend Sessions' long history of racism after Trump picked him as AG, only to turn on Sessions when Trump told you to.
Sessions is many things. I don't really like him but one thing he is not is a racist.
Trump cancels GOP convention plans in Jacksonville
President Trump said Thursday that he would cancel the GOP convention events in Jacksonville, Fla., in August, saying it wasn’t the right time due to the coronavirus.
The "new hoax" strikes again.
So Trump is afraid to debate his healthcare cuts in a key swing state such as Florida because people are dying............ He's finished. I can't see him winning Florida at this point.
Democrats really need to get back control of their cities and tone down identity politics otherwise Trump is going to keep gaining.
President Trump has jumped back into the race and now trails Joe Biden by just three points in Rasmussen Reports’ weekly White House Watch survey. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds the likely Democratic presidential nominee earning 47% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Trump’s 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate. Four percent (4%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
A week ago, in our first weekly White House Watch survey, Biden held a 10-point lead over Trump – 50% to 40%.
The new survey finds Trump with 79% of the Republican vote. Biden has the support of 76% of Democrats. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, it’s Biden 44%, Trump 38%. A week ago, Biden had a 12-point lead among independents.

You'll see these numbers quickly change during these next 2 months - it always does.
The moment they debate, the moment they are put next to each other, you'll see the undecideds and independents quickly move to Trump.
They are scheduled to debate:
September 29th:
University of Notre Dame
October 15:
University of Michigan
October 22:
Belmont University
That first one will be a doozy for Biden. It's going to wake a lot of people up. That, or a ton of people are going to have to process a shitload of cognitive dissonance to try and somehow justify the trainwreck that is Biden.
Late 80s, early 90s Biden? Would hand Trump's ass to him. Biden just got old. Wish the Dems would have selected a different front-runner.

How are they doing the debates this year? Are they normal? With an audience and stuff? Will they be different because of covid? Wouldn’t surprise me if the debates are fine via Skype or something this year.
No idea. All I have is a PowerPoint slide deck from a PAC. Content which I cannot share.
FYI, the think tank in this PAC sees all the toss-up states as going to Trump:
FL, AZ, NE 02 (?), NC, WI.11
Which puts Trump at exactly 270. They think this election is going to be extremely close.
