After watching the debates I have to admit I like Pete Buttigieg a lot.
Yeah, heard him speak a few times prior, he's someone to keep an eye on. Maybe what Obama was in 2008, not really well known but shot up to the top.
Being openly gay is going to be a huge hurdle for him to overcome though.
I love the Right's attack of "he's only the mayor of a small city, he doesn't have the political experience!".

I can mostly agree with that sentiment. Biden had some fumbled words, Sanders came across angry(to me,) Harris did a nice job with her explanations, Buttigeig was polished and thoughtful in his commentary....the 2nd night was a pretty good night overall.Trump is still going to be hard to beat, which surprises me really since he is so terrible at articulating policy and details. He is like watching a 5th grader in front of a podium with a bad attitude and poor parenting.
He's not much of a policy wonk but he's a genius at slinging mud.

As for being gay.. that's his only saving grace in the primaries. Being a generic white male is his major obstacle.
I could only stomach about the first 1/3 or half of this, but listen to how unbelievably deceptively they misrepresent the debates...

They make it sound like all that was talked about was the Green New Deal, approval for late-term abortions, and Democrats wanting to take away health insurance. I don't think the Green New Deal was even mentioned except maybe once or twice (I missed the second half of Night 1) and also from what I heard the term "late term abortion" was never even mentioned. And obviously the whole discuss on healthcare was about how it should be a basic human right.
This is why political discourse in this country is a complete shit-show. There is no honesty or even the slightest shred of good will.

Yeah it sucks that both sides are dishonest.
Originally posted by Patient_Leecheh...... You have a point but they did talk a lot about banning private health insurance and most of the candidates agreed that free healthcare should be extended to illegal immigrants..I think some of this is going to come back to bite them in the general.

^ Surt's go-to equalization tactic. Shit on Democrats all day, when something negative is posted about Trumpers that he can't argue against, claim all sides are bad to lessen the blow. Repeat.
I see I hit a nerve, that sucks. I'm sure you're equally upset Bash brought up "what if she was white" in my Alabama thread and will have a strongly worded reply for him, being consistent 🙂

On your implied request, I went there and checked what you are btching, moaning and whining about.
My reply to you:
Now do you have something to add on topic or will you moan some more about your other thread?

Just point to the part on the doll where Tim hurt you. Point to the head if the answer is it was feelings that were injured:
