What are these women doing to you when they are around you that makes it to where you can't keep your sanity? I've heard other men say this same thing. "I need alone time to keep my sanity."
So what goes on when they are around that slowly erodes your sanity? Nagging? "do this, do that" kind of thing?
I know an Italian american woman who divorced her jewish husband because he refused to sleep in the same bed as her, chose playing video games over intimacy, and went into a rage if she protested.
Marriage is about compromising. Some guys (And gals) are better off just not getting married, if they don't want to compromise.

Having a serious relationship means you have to start thinking in terms of "we" rather than "me" and for someone like myself who is hugely introverted that notion is not very appealing to me.
Not that I'm a selfish person... I'm actually very kind and considerate of others who don't get on my bad side. But, like Bada, I need some time to myself for introspection and reflection. I think I'd go nuts if I was constantly around someone else.
And let's be real here, I'm not about to give up my video games or other hobbies I enjoy for anyone and I just know a spouse or serious GF would constantly nag at me for spending more time with them than her.
Then of course there's the financial responsibility of taking care of someone else and I usually barely have enough money to make it thru the month. I'm far from being rich (though I certainly wouldn't call myself poor either).
