Not sure but I know that the Democrats don't want Biden debating Trump under any circumstances. Many Democrats including Pelosi has advised Biden not to debate him. Of course they can't admit the real reason they don't want Biden to debate him so they just use the lame excuse "Trump is a liar" or some such nonsense.

And with how catty Trump gets with the personal jobs...I think everyone will realize how weak and pathetic Biden is up against Trump.
They really really needed someone else to stand up against Trump in the debates and Biden is literally the worst of the top 8 Dem candidates to do this.
I didn’t watch any of the dem debates. Just heard about them. I remember reading how Harris trashed the shit out of Biden and at the time people thought it was the end of Biden’s campaign. Aside from that exchange did Biden do badly at the debates?
Too bad Biden can’t have Harris debate Trump. She’d probably do a good job against him.

I think there would be a lot of blame to go around. Could blame Biden for being a weak and uninspiring candidate. The dnc establishment for once again losing to someone who by all estimates is very beatable and not popular. Also things like the electoral college again.
I think people will be less upset this time. In fact most liberals I know already assume Trump will end up winning again. So I don’t think there will be much shock this time. I think more shock and anger will be on the side of Trump supporters should Trump lose.
