This is terrible news for Democrats if they want 2020.

The only Dem with the pizzazz to hand Trump his ass in debates is Sanders.

Not really.

Not really part deux.

I'd still pick Sanders, Warren or Buttigeog over Biden. Give it to Pete, I say.

As a man over 50, personally I think it's great how you yanks value experience.

Its true experience is super important but the older you get the human condition is such you cannot escape the outcome, no matter how much you want to.

Maybe as president the stem cells from Panama are shipped in and injected nightly 😛

Depends.

-In 2008 Obama was attacked for not having enough political experience under his belt to take on the role of POTUS.

-In 2016, Trump having zero political experience was touted as a positive by those same people.

That's true, opponents will always look to find fault and leverage said "problem" with that said all of our leaders running are over the age of retirement and let's not even talk about congress.

🙄

Sanders would get chewed-up and spit out by Trump.

I would actually feel kind of bad for a wimp like Bernie going up against Trump in a debate. I still remember when-- during the 2016 campaign-- those female BLM activists stole his microphone away from him and all he did in response was hang his head in shame and slump away like a whipped hound lol.

He's a wuss, and therefore couldn't stand-up to Trump in a debate.

It is really kinda sad that all the leaders running for the position are past the age of retirement.......(yeah Trump too.) We should put a cap on the age of individuals that run for president 😉

You may kid, but I see no real reason not to.

Right now we note that anyone under 35 isn't fit for *reasons*, so why not put a cap on anyone over 70, since we know that diminishing mental capacity is common starting round that age and certainly by age 78-79, if a winner does two terms.

Edit: Case in point, both Trump and Biden are showing it, if you compare their speaking patterns, vocabulary and lucidity from years before. Especially Trump.

Hormone replacement for all candidates I suggest.

I'm not joking, I think it should be put in place. I am not looking to pick on or denigrate our elderly folks but like you said, it's the only natural that we lose capacity fairly significantly at certain age points.

How hard can it be to run a country of 340+ million people? Any one of the kids in the Star Wars forum is surely expert on it after reading a few Presidents biographies... just like by watching pornhub they undoubtedly know how to pleasure a woman's "axe wound". 😖hifty:

All the important stuff happens at the local level anyways. Good Governors, mayors, congressmen and such actually run most of the country.

I'm not sure WHAT Trump does with most of his time. He sure makes a lot of tweets, for someone in the most strenuous, complicated job in the world.

He makes the big decisions... like pulling out of Syria to go into Iraq or chick fil a or Wendy's.

I'd say make it so you gotta be between the ages of 30 and 60 to be president.

While I certainly agree with the first part of your post, it's ludicrous to think that the jobs of governors, mayors, and congressmen are anywhere near as strenuous as being the PotUS. Particularly when the president is a republican, and most especially when it is someone like Trump whom most of the media despises very much, you get blamed for practically everything bad that happens.

Of course it is much worse with Trump than any previous president in our nation's history. Not only do they blame him for everything bad that happens, but they also give him literally zero credit for anything good (like a booming economy, for example;some even have the gall to claim Obama should get credit for it lmao). They're constantly making up lies about him and the democrats have been trying to derail his presidency since the day he was sworn-in.

Now, they are holding closed-door sessions about "impeachment" and not following the proper procedures for conducting an impeachment inquiry. They selectively choose what to leak and what not to based on what fits their BS narrative and they're not allowing Trump or his lawyers to face his accusers which violates his basic civil rights. In short, democrats are behaving in a very treasonous way in regards to how they're conducting this impeachment so-called "inquiry" (repubs did the right thing storming the closed-door session yesterday).

But sure, it is such an easy job and Trump is not under any stress at all. He's actually very comfortable and having lots of fun! 🙄

In fact, his job's so easy that he spends great deal of time playing golf! Oh wait... that was our former so-called "president" who was always doing that, my bad.😉

Sanders is on his A-game when facing rich white men. 🙂

Don't worry, Sanders is not at risk of Trump turning into a sassy black woman any time soon. I think Sanders is safe.

Too much weigh ton experience, not enough on putting forward coherent policy plans.

That's incorrect.

Obama was attacked for not having executive experience, he wasn't attacked for not having enough political experience.

Trump was attacked for not having enough political experience.

Here's an article that covers a 2008 interview that talks exactly about this:

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/spill-reveals-obamas-lack-of-executive-experience

In mid-February 2008, fresh from winning a bunch of Super Tuesday primaries, Barack Obama granted an interview to "60 Minutes" correspondent Steve Croft. "When you sit down and you look at [your] resume," Croft said to Obama, "there's no executive experience, and in fact, correct if I'm wrong, the only thing that you've actually run was the Harvard Law Review."

Yes but errmmm Obama good, drumpfsh bad

Even though back then we were for Hilldog.

Kamala is basically done, this is basically a last ditch effort before she “suspends her campaign.”

I'm just crossing my fingers that Andrew Yang gets placed into some position to exert his influence for the democrat that wins the primary and if elected president then maybe a cabinet position. 🙂

Yang is interesting, I am suprised he hasnt suspended his campaign yet.
