So again me being politically ignorant, I'm kinda just curious really. But is there like a time limit this thing has with this calling states thing? Because right now it's been 2 days after the election and some states aren't being called for...whatever reason. I guess to get more votes for either side? But is there some cut off time to when they must call a state regardless if votes are still being counted? Or whatever.

States set their own voting count timeline policies, the amount of time they have to count all votes after election day. Some are a couple days, some are longer.

Also it should be pointed out that the majority of states have not counted all their votes yet. They simply were able to call it early based on projections and because of a larger disparity between votes. However, all the states that haven't called yet, with the exception of Alaska, are very close. So they likely won't declare a victor into nearly every vote has been counted.

I feel like it's gonna dip into next week, we won't know until then at the very least for sure who won.

Buuut we can guess, and it's Biden probably.
