Some shit I learned for some of the audit work I did. I don't do SOX auditing anymore (I only ever did internal auditing) but this was one of the things we looked for in the data.
Funny thing about that, though: research shows that SOX had no noticeable impact on fraud over a 40 year period.

In order to cheat and get away with it in a way that sticks, the cheating has to be just enough to get you the most favorable outcome but not enough that there's too much evidence that it is clearly cheating.
Thousands of votes, here and there, would be an example of how to properly cheat. And the people involved would have to be acolytic to avoid cheating leaks. So, is there evidence that some people involved in the cheating came forward and uncovered the cheating? It would be impossible to keep everyone involved quiet.

I won't pretend to be an expert on it. Simply saw saw graphs using it to suggest some of the results were fraudulent and, looking online, I saw professional papers arguing both for and against its merit as an election fraud indicator.

That's really cool. Yeah, you don't need an expert. You have computation tools that can ingest all the data and spit out a probability score (weak AI). If any of them spoke with any confidence that it is definitely this or that, they are full of shit. It's always a probability score.
