What do you suppose they said to each other?

I'm not a lip-reader, but based on his hand gestures, it looked like Bernie might have told her "You and me are f*cking done." or "What was said between you and me in private, you're twisting my words, and I've got nothing more to say to you about it." or something along those lines.

I wouldn't blame him. That was a shitty thing for Warren to do to someone who's been both a friend and political ally for years. I don't believe for a second that he told her women are unelectable for the presidency, especially not when there are recorded examples of him saying that women could be president and that there should be more women in government.

What makes this unforgivable, even in the highly unlikely event that her allegations are true, is that she weaponized it against him as soon as it was politically convenient for her to do so. Friends don't do that to friends. It just reinforces my suspicion, going back to 2016, that Elizabeth Warren is out for what is best for Elizabeth Warren, and she doesn't give a f*ck about people or progressive movements and change like Sanders does. It's all ambition and ego with her.

Much like the republicans in 2015-16, the Dems can attack each other all they want during the primaries. In the end, whoever gets the nomination, the majority of them will become arse kissing sycophants jockeying for a position in the cabinet should they win.

She said “you just lied to the entire nation about me.”

Which he did.

so he's winning?

America is doing so great what is Democrat message here?

*edit “you just called me a liar in front of the entire nation.”

That was her painful cry to Biden to plz let her be his running mate if he wins the primary.

Bernie didn't want to deal with her buttmadness hysteria. That's funny as hell. They looked like a bickering couple.

Edit - We all know just about what they talked about.

Here's what's going to back your noodle:

1. CNN was likely behind making the bickering moment, un-mic'ed, a big deal. They probably had someone tweet it, write news article on it, etc. Why?

2. When enough buzz was generated around this, they released the audio from the moment to create even more buzz. Why?

3. To increase ad revenues and traffic to their news, sites, and apps.

It was all about money.

Does someone think that another candidate is who they have picked to go up against Trump? Seems odd that CNN is trying to tank the top 2 candidates. Wait...is Biden the one they want to win?

Bernie Sanders now the Democratic presidential frontrunner, according to a new national poll from Reuters.

2016 all over again.

Let's wait and see.

I do know that if Bernie wins, I will DEFINITELY be out of a job, soon. So I am already looking at a different job that would be more stable under a more socialistic president. I may move back to the financial sector.

Why are you so sure?

Because we already went through rounds of layoffs. One of our competitors said they could not survive this economic slump and will have to shut down.

I am not sure Bernie will win. I am sure Trump will win. However, it is already bad under Trump for my sector. It will get a million times worse under Sanders if he wins.

If true, makes me happy and sad. Happy as Sanders is the best candidate vying for 2020. Sad because I don't think Sanders can beat** Trump, the Republican smear machine will label him a socialist-communist tenfold what they did to Obama in 2008 and some people will buy into it and frankly, Sanders comes off physically as a little frail old man, that will turn certain types of people away. The voters who want the 'strong father figure' type when they vote, Trump used this to his advantage in 2016.

**This is under a decent economy. If it slumps enough before Nov, Trump's out to Sanders, should the election end up that way

edit: The story says Sanders is tied with Biden, not ahead?

It doesn’t actually say that

Reuters poll numbers show Sanders at 20%, while Biden is at 19%.

It's close, but that's still a lead.

I think Trump's attacks will reach, for the most part, conservatives who are going to vote Republican anyhow.

Likewise, the overwhelming majority of registered Democrats and unaffiliated progressives and liberals are pretty much guaranteed to vote for the Democratic presidential nominee, whether Sanders is their first choice or not, even it is more a vote against Trump than a vote for the Democratic nominee.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of independents and fence-sitters who either aren't happy with Trump, or just not impressed by him. Sanders, being an independent throughout his political career, may appeal to both independents and those disillusioned with both major parties. He may be running on the Democratic ticket, but him and his ideas sure stand out from the average Democrat. He's offering something new and different and populist, which is pretty much what made people give Trump the benefit of a doubt in 2016 against Clinton.

Good for Bernie. It was ridiculous the way he's been treated lately with this Warren BS.

The headline and first paragraph say Sanders and Biden are tied, but the numbers in the second and third paragraphs in the body of the article show Sanders has taken the lead, according to this Reuters poll.

This may be only one poll, but it is significant, as this is, at least to my knowledge the first time any candidate has surpassed Biden in the national polls.

The online poll, released Thursday, shows that 20% of registered Democrats and independents said they would back Sanders over 11 other candidates to run in the general election against President Donald Trump, an increase of 2 percentage points from a similar poll that ran last week.

Another 19% supported Biden, 12% said they would vote for Senator Elizabeth Warren, 9% backed former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and 6% said they would support Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

Yeah, that was a dirty tactic from Warren and her campaign, as well as from CNN with the way they reported the story then framed Sanders' positions during the debate.

Who would you support in the general election if it came down to Bernie and Trump, and why, Surtur?

I think Sanders would do well against Trump, we have to remember that something like 10% of Sanders voters voted for Trump so he auto loses those guys.

He has a strong mssg but imo he is old as dirt, I've said this before and I feel the same way about Trump. Call me after the elections so I can stop crying about Yang 😛

I mean look at his mssging:

No PACs, Just People
We can force corporations to pay their fair share and rewrite the rules of the economy to work for us—but we can only do it together.

We need to move to a new form of capitalism – Human Capitalism – that’s geared towards maximizing human well-being and fulfillment. The central tenets of Human Capitalism are:

Humans are more important than money
The unit of a Human Capitalism economy is each person, not each dollar
Markets exist to serve our common goals and values

Man I love that guy and his mssg😛
