My claim is not that he's enacting tons of policies that a fascist would do. Obviously authoritarian regimes don't materialize overnight and with our system you can't make it happen overnight. Which is good. Hense why the article title I posted is, "Trump Has Laid the Groundwork for 'Full-On Authoritarian Rule.'" But scapegoating outsiders with his famous wall is definitely a big one. Trump voters are the most uninformed voters in US history, or at least modern history. This is largely due to Trump's and his surrogates relentless barrage of lies and a desperate need to only seek information that they agree with, ie confirmation bias.
