So they have a problem now on the left. We have been told Trump is racist. We have been told Trump is sexist. We have been told supporting him is tantamount to being racist and sexist.
Bloomberg has said things that would be labeled sexist and racist if Trump or any Republican said them. In fact some who are on the left have called him out as sexist and racist, but if he ends up as the nominee then if we use their own logic it would mean they are racist and sexist. We already know they are, but I wonder how they will cope/spin that.
Here I was thinking Bernie would be awesome cuz they could call him a commie and stuff, but now Bloomberg comes along basically wearing a yuge neon sign that says "I'm here to put your hypocrisy on full display". I love it.

He is the gift that keeps on giving:
1. Latinos - My personal experience has been that Latino men are inexplicably late. Didn't matter which country they came from.
2. Latinas - I had the exact opposite experience with almost all Latinas: the were punctual, even more so than their white peers. They had various attitudes from the best to the most argumentative and terrible attitudes out of any group (Puerto Rican lady was the most condescending and hateful person I've ever worked with: she retired in October, thank GOODNESS, she was terrible. Even her boss said she was terrible.)
3. Black men - Mostly good. Among the best I've worked with by race and gender. Almost across the board. The only problem I've really had with black male employees or coworkers is hitting on their coworkers. Some of them or players that don't know how to turn it off in the work place. But, yeah, thinking about it, if I had the choice to work with a team of black male devs or white male devs, I'd choose a black team.
4. Black women - In the work place, they have the most terrible attitudes, were the most entitled, were the laziest, were the least capable to do their jobs (just plain inept); were constantly late to work, constantly making last minute callouts to miss work, constantly leaving early for work to do stuff; and caused the most conflict between their coworkers (fights, arguments, HR). However, among the best employees and coworkers I've had are also black women. I should also clarify: I am only referring to African Americans, not African immigrants.
5. White Men (American) - Mostly good. I've had some employees with terrible attitudes, though. And considering my profession, I work with White Men and Indian Men, mostly.
6. White Women (American) - Mostly decent. But white women have a similar problem to black women: too many damn excuses to miss work. Stop making excuses to leave work and just do your damn job. Unplanned absenteeism is not cool because you affect all your coworkers. Also, white women, get off of Instagram, Facebook, snap chat, Whatsapp, etc. Do you work!
7. Indian Men - Almost all good. Had an indirect boss who had a terrible attitude. Also, Indian men need to learn that in the US, they need to wear underarm deodorant. Also, many of them cannot do work I assign them without me giving them excruciatingly specific instructions (which sometimes defeats the purpose of assigning them the work because then I could just save time to do it myself). This is culture, though, it is what they are taught. Also, I hate it that they are extremely respectful and subservient to me. They still have the vestiges of the Caste System and they view me as being in a higher Caste because I am their employer. I hate it, hate it, hate it. I am no better than them. Many are extremely intelligent and educated and I have no choice but to rely on their expertise because they are the best in the industry. So treating me like I'm some sort of noble or king is not kosher to me.
I've also had a few that were too argumentative with members on the team (just like some white men) but I like my employees and coworkers to be argumentative as long as it is also working in the right direction.
8. Indian Women - All good. Not a single problem with any of them. The only issue I've had is lack of competence from some. They just didn't know how to do their job.
9. A bunch of different types of Asian Men - too many cultures to compare.
10. A bunch of different types of Asian Women - same as 9 but I will say that Asian Women cause far too much drama, like some of their White American Women counterparts. Way too much drama.
"Who asked?" No one. But no one is honest these days. There are generalizations you can make after working with different types of people. It is not politically correct. But some companies are finding out that pretending like these differences do not exist is harmful. Educating your employees on cultural differences allows you to be more effective and mindful. Telling one of your male Indian employees to talk to you like an equal may make them uncomfortable or even feel ostracized/in trouble, for example. It's best to understand behaviors and know how to address them. But, at the same time, don't group everyone and treat everyone like a group.
Summary: black women are terrible to work with, almost invariably, and I don't want to work with them. I'm racist.

Made it 4 minutes in but I have to go. So far, no problems with the content and also keeping it light hearted.
He's making great points (his writers are).

I watched that the other day and I'm still going to say M4A sucks, we need to do something like copy modify France's program for our much larger country and demographics and run with it.
Medicare for All, but still allowing medicare supplement programs, would be the same system as France's.
It's the difference between a UHC and a SPS. We want a UHC (France's system or Switzerland's system), not a Single Payer System version of M4A (Bernie's plan).

Pretty sure that's what Bernie is proposing.
That is what is proposed with zero out of pocket for any medical expenses as well as getting rid of all private health insurance.
I suppose it's best for Bernie to start out as far far far left as possible so if elected he might better bargain to the middle.
And to give a better idea how the french system makes it affordable for low wage earners:
Health insurance for unemployed and low earnersUnemployed workers and low earners are eligible for free complementary state-funded healthcare, known as CMU-complémentaire (CMU-C).
The current income thresholds per household for 2019 are set at the following levels:
Single-person household: €8,951
Two-person household: €13,426
Three-person household: €16,112
Four-person household: €18,129
Each additional person in a household with more than four people: €3,580 each.Expats must first activate PUMA before qualifying for CMU-C. Afterwards, the state health insurance covers all medical and dental costs.
You won’t be asked for upfront payments after services have been rendered. You can apply for the CMU-C by filling in this form and submitting it to your local CPAM.
Here is a nice little story of an American having a baby in France🙂

My understanding is that there would still be private insurance for those who want it for things like cosmetics and such, etc. I heard him say something to that effect.

Yup, you're right.
I was pretty sure he wanted to do away with all private medical insurance companies. Here is his summary straight from his website:
Create a Medicare for All, single-payer, national health insurance program to provide everyone in America with comprehensive health care coverage, free at the point of service.
https://berniesanders.com/issues/medicare-for-all/
He wants SPS, not UHC. UHC is the better option. UHC with copays (not coinsurance pays) is the better option. Costs far less than Bernie's plan but will still accomplish almost all of Bernie's goals. It most closely matches France's and Switzerland's systems which are touted to be the easiest and fasted moves for America to modernize it's healthcare system to catch up with the rest of the world.

I didn't think about that. True true. That's classic negotiation tactics. He's been reading Trump's book. lol

No major network, CNN, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, etc. can truthfully claim that since Trump won they have never pushed talking points that are lies.
So no it's not shocking really, Fox has a lot in common with other shitty media outlets 🙂

France has coinsurance copays as well and it still SUPER inexpensive. The reason being is that the govt determines the fair price value of services and it has to be displayed in advance, no sneaky backroom negotiations between hospitals and insurance to determine prices.
I linked a story to an American giving birth in France and had to use the private facilities, not the public afforded ones and it was only 540$!
Even the French system is in trouble and having significant funding issues atm though.
