I hate Hillary Clinton. I'm glad Trump beat her and I think she should face charges for some of the stuff she's pulled... but defending the rapist was her job at the time whether she knew he was guilty or not. That's just the way our legal system works. Morality and legal ethics aren't the same thing, a large portion of the time the two are mutually exclusive in fact. There are plenty of legitimate criticisms that can be leveled against her, but as far as I know that particular case isn't one of them.

Her words indicate that she knew he was very guilty at the time.
