If I was a democrat and I read that a bunch of students walked out of a vigil - for another student who was murdered - because Democrat-activists tried to politicize the vigil AND even told the students and parents to vote for Democrats, I would experience cognitive dissonance and react in 1 of 2 ways:

1. Realize the Democratic Party needs to change and stop with this atrocious behavior. This very same disrespectful behavior that we got upset at Trump when he preached politics to a bunch of Boy Scouts.

2. Double-down on my support for the Democrats and start attacking every person not supporting Democrats.
