This is interesting to me from a physical, martial arts perspective. I really think, if WW is trully a gifted martial artist, who has magically enhanced senses, how would Supes be able to even touch her without losing a limb.
I am fascinated by the mechanics.

Wonder Woman was holding back as well and during that instance, Superman was trying to kill her. He saw Diana as Doomsday and that Doomsday just killed Lois. He was trying to throw her in the sun. At that point, there was no holding back. Diana was holding back though.

The problem is Superman's sheer power. Nobody else on Earth has his combination of raw strength and speed without it coming from some sort of "extra" source like magic or the speed force. Even with the sun powering Superman's cells, his powers shouldn't operate the way they do, but they still do.
That, and Superman's had enough training to make himself not completely useless skill wise.
I do like seeing them fight though. When it's written well, it can make for some really compelling stuff.
