This. The actors have signed up for other projects, and some are probably booked up for years to come. Not to mention the immense costs involved with making (or remaking) an entire season.
My friend thought they’d remake it once the books are finished but I said pretty much what you said, I’d say it’s mainly the money part though and the cost

Overly dramatic fan boys.I've enjoyed the show, and am glad to see things finally coming together and finishing.
I agree that a couple things were a little silly in the writing, but overall it's great. Can't beat it for production value either. It's impressive.
This is almost a point for point retreading of Battlestar Galactica's rise and fall with fans.
I liked Galactica series finale. Even the part about Kara Thrace being an angel and flying away.

You can enjoy it, but don’t deny the retardation that is season 8. Nothing is season 8 makes sense.

I disagree, everything makes sense.
Things like putting some of the smartest chsracters in the show along with the women and children in the crypts, surrounded by dead bodies, while a guy, whose super power is to raise the dead, is coming to kill them all, goes beyond suspension of disbelief or cis/pis and sprints right into the realm of full retard.
