Absolutely films, books, comics are not crucial beyond entertainment. We can discuss and even disagree about them, but unless someone is male and liked Twilight, I don't think a differing opinion is that weird.

probably the same incel snowflakes who got permatriggered over star wars TLJ.

I'm sure some folk did dislike TLJ for all the wrong reasons and also dislike GoT for all the wrong reasons. Of course, just like with TLJ, there is plenty of legit criticism to throw at GoT's final season.

For example, there is just no excuse for the too dark to see battle scenes from the third episode.

A lot of people DID complain about the battle being too dark to see.

Apparently it had something to do with how HBO compressed the data for streaming (whatever that means).

The producers could only pre-warn the viewers to adjust their screens via podcast...but only after the episode was released & complaints were made

Actually, agree that that battle was in places too dark to see. Still enjoyed it.

Cinematically speaking, it was gorgeous. I enjoyed their play on dark/light. Many people have poor settings on their TV, which could cause the reported visibility problems. Tactically speaking it was just retarded from the beginning

This has been a bad season. Very rushed and honestly feels lazy as hell.

If it was peoples tvs they would have noticed a problem with lighting in dark scenes of other episodes/shows/movies.

I didn't really have a problem seeing anything on my TV in that episode.

Me neither. With that said, next time I get a new TV I'll use that episode to adjust brightness and contrast

Everyone: we need a king...

Nobody (Sam): How about democracy?

Everyone: what a stupid idea.

This was such a shitty ending.

Bran played everyone.

Sansa and Tyrion both traitors get to live.

Jon a traitor and Kinslayer was let go by the Unsullied and Dothraki after he killed their queen?

Why did Jon kill Dany?

Because Tyrion talked him into it.

By way of pressuring him into realizing what a bad leader she is, what a good leader he'd be, and since he's too much of a pussy to take power..... Gotta stab her, and let the chips fall where they may.

But they were lovers.

What was Jon's justification to take that step? How did he go from lover to murderer?

Pretty much like I said, Tyrion petitioned him.

From his execution cell. Dany went off the rails and decided all of Kings Landing was culpable, including women and children, and simply burned the city to the ground. Then she ordered the unsullied to kill any survivors.

Tyrion, who was probably going to hang for releasing Jamie anyways, confronted her about burning the city as she was making a speech to visit every corner of the world and "break the wheel", threw his symbol of state to the ground, and was taken away to await execution. Snow visits him (Without being thoughtful enough to bring wine for the alcoholic dwarf), and he just kept pressing him on how evil she is, and how he needed to step up and do something.

Presumably, the something he had in mind was to reveal his heritage, and assume power. But Jon didn't want that. He knew she had to be stopped, but he didn't want the throne. He also knew he's the only one alive who could get close enough to her, to end her.

Basically, D&D are idiots that have no idea on how to create anything original. You could see the decline from season 5 onward. Plus cdtm covered it.

You what’s worse? Bran has the ability to see all, yet he refused to tell Jon anything about the outcomes.

Sansa the new Cersei/little finger manipulated everyone and become queen of the North.

I honestly wish someone make an epilogue were Drogon returns and burns everything to the ground.

One last thing. How is Daenerys evil when Twyinn slaughtered the Castamere? There was even a song about it.

Arya slaughtered the whole of house Frey, yet she’s not crazy.

Like I said D&D are unable to create anything original, and I fear for Star Wars.

Makes much more sense, now. Didn't know about the "burn it all to the ground" part. Why went off her rocker. Became the "Mad Queen."

After fighting and defeating the NK, they were ambushed. Rhaegal died from Euron in the stupidest of ways. It was so bad I was skipping scenes-I did that through the whole season actually.

Missandei got captured and was executed in front of her.

Varys plotted behind her back

Tyrion plotted behind her back

Sansa after swearing an oath under the heart tree broke her oath and told Tyrion Jon’s secret.

Jon betrayed her by turning her back on her. This is after Daenerys lose a dragon saving the retard. Then she lost half of her army in the Long Night.

I honestly don’t mind if she went crazy, but the author were so stupid, they made her turn in one episode. The you have idiots that knows nothing about the story claiming she was always evil for the thing she did in Essos. Like burning slavers, or when she executed the Tarlys.

Those same people magically forgets that
-Robert did nothing when Elia was raped
-Twyinn destroyed a whole clan when he slaughtered the Castamere
-Jon as lord commander first order was to behead a brother that refused to obey
-Jon also hanged a young boy after he was resurrected
-Arya ended the Frey’s. She even cooked them and stuff them in a pie and served Walder Frey’s his sons.
-Stannis burned people alive
-Tyrion kills his father, he also burn Stannis’s army with wild fire

The story was idiotic, and I’m glad it’s over.
