Match The Feat

These have got to be some of the biggest meltdowns in a while.

This thread should be stickied, for all time, as a reminder for what's going on in this forum when it comes to Superman, and also to study a good example of the "Stages of Grief".

If his is able to summon at least his regular strength at that moment, then he is not weakened at that moment.

So you're arguing Superman has true dynamic strength? Interesting.

...Which doesn't at all change the fact that Superman was grossly diminished/weakened at the time:

After all, World Forger specifically designed that entire pocket reality just to keep Superman weak and imprisoned.

...So just imagine what a full power/normal Superman could have done in that moment. 🙂

How weakened was he? Let's compare it to a 100% figure. Where was Superman power at during the time?

ermm

He couldn't even fly at that point and was literally on death door.

So 99.99%, amirite?

What I am saying is, 1. The planet is tiny based off what I've seen. 2. Hes struggling to get off said planet due to him being near exhausted

I think Carver is saying that Superman is near exhausted. Can't be sure.

Hmmmm

Carver, when Gladiator destroyed a unknown size planet with repeated multiple punches. you sprayed your children all over kmc

but when a extremely weakened/dying superman destroyed a unknown size planet with only a jump, you are so quick to lowball

why is that?

why carver why?

The only time, ONLY time I mention fts like busting a planet is when people start debating powerset. I primarily use fights as an indication of who would win.

But that's not what he's asking, lmao. Can you even read?

He's asking why you low-ball one, but accept the other at face value. He's NOT asking you why you use feats over fights.....

I'm telling him that he cant use that showing as an indication of what I'm saying here because I dont use it.

But you don't go to such great length to low-ball it,do you?

You don't say how Glads' planet was hollow, or ask for it's specific size, or composition, or whatever.

Text says he punched a dead rock, world cried out as they died, and you accept that Glads did what the text said he did. When his son says he saw his father do what he did, even though we don't even see it, you accept it.

Here? You're nitpicking everything under the sun to try and down play it.

Why?

I mean, just a few weeks ago:

Gladiator has moved at light speed, survived an explosion that was capable of shedding half of a solar system and then he contained said blast. Hes moved at 100 times the speed of light. Swam in suns. Matched heat vision temporarily with Tyrant while withstand his punches. Broke planets. One punched a Phoenix user. One punched Vulcan. Dang!!! That full capacity rule is real cute right now. Beyonce sexy cute.

NOBODY even brought up space cheese until you did lmao.

Ok. You are not staying consistent. If he went into his reserves in order to elevate his strength to 100% long enough to destroy the planet, then that means that he destroys the planet using his 100% strength.

Eh, I never said that he elevated his strength to 100% in that moment, so how am I being inconsistent?

All I know is that he was able to gather *enough* power to shatter the planet and escape its gravitational pull with a single leap, despite being severely diminished/weakened at the time. 🙂

What a stupid argument. He doesn't gets his powers back magically, he uses his hidden reserves to do that.

Who is discussing how he gets his power back? The point is that he gets it back, thus it is not a feat that he performs using only a fraction of his strength.

Worldbreaker Hulk is about to destroy Earth by merely walking after being depowered by Sentry beating on him. No one has argued that Banner is about to break the world

Well, you can't assertain how much power is gathered, whether 100% or other. So all we know is that for a short time, he elevates beyond his deminished state to perform a feat. Thus, the deminished state becomes moot.

No it doesn't become moot, because the feat was still preformed *while* he was in a severely diminished state.
