We know that the Republic needed clones to protect these.
A simple math will tell you that a 1000 clones per system gives you a total of Billions of clones.
All other numbers can be derived from that, as the Federation's army greatly outnumbered the clones. The Empire had less than the Republic and the FO even less.
No one knows the real numbers but the aproximation should be realistic considering the Galaxy's size.

As I said the real number is unknown.
When Obi Wan visited Camino back at the beginning of the war in Ep.2 he was told that 1.2 Million clone units were to be sent, where a unit is considered a batallion or platoon of clones.
Now, if we take a unit as the size garisson seen standing in Ep.2 (26x24 clones), then we are talking about 624 clones per unit. In that aspect, at the beginning of the war 778Million troops were ready.
However, the original request from Syfo Dias was of 3M units
