Well I bought the DVD today. It was 20 bucks, but was worth it. Every ending sucked tho, and the one extra that wasnt in theaters was an edited version of the other, im not gonna give it away for anybody, who hasnt seen any of the endings. But it was definately worth it, the movie is great.

It was more disturbing for me; having grown up in London I recognised the setting. That suoermarket is the one down the street - but it isn't...

Movie and extras were great, yeah I liked the alt endings but they picked the right one for me

It was weird I started out not liking the movie much but by the end I was like the biggest fan!

Opposite for me, the movie was great, and the endings sucked ass

I would have prefered the airplane to come around and kill them in the end.

Ya like the infected became intellegent and learned how to fly it, that would be good.

I meant the Jet that showed up at the end...it woulda been cool if they just had it open fire on the characters.

I will probably buy this movie this week. I watched in the theater and loved it, I'm curious about the alternate endings.

Nothing special about the endings.

The movie itself is truley remarkable though. The only great horror movie to be made in the past 10 years.

I rented the DVD, and seeing as there is a time constraint, I didn't bother checking out all the extras, but those deleted scenes and alternative endings were very disappointing.

Its funny you say that about the end, Ebert in his review, says he wished the plane turned around and opened fire 😂

Did you like the movie though Tex?

Yeah, I saw it almost a week ago, and its pretty much been stuck in my head. The first hour mostly, I thought the 2nd half was a little too Lord of the Flies meets The Beach, but all in all, it was a great movie. And I really came to love all the characters.

The music kicked ass too. Plus I loved how it finally dealed with how women would be viewed as objects for sex and recreating man. First movie to really show that.

I wasn't too shocked about that aspect of it, I read the spoilers, so I knew what was coming, but yeah, I would hate to be a woman among a bunch of horny men! Or would I? 😉
