Why does Harriet Tubman deserve to replace Andrew Jackson?

Whos decision was it to try and put her on the $20 bill.

And if we are going to put a woman on there why not Jacky Kennedy. The woman went through hell.

I think you're on to something, but there's more to it then that.

The SJW on the left, and the neo-nazi types on the right, serve the same purpose. That purpose being, keeping everyone forcused away from the real enemy.

Here's a hint: Neo Nazi's aren't the one's who own vast swaths of land, and price people out of their own neighborhoods. Nor are they the one's who fight to break unions, artificially deflate wages, pass various laws that are good for corporate interests and bad for the general public/consumer.

Billy Bob spouting racism on his stoop is in no way responsible for the harsh living conditions in the slums. But he makes a convenient target for those in the ghettos to get angry at.

Likewise, mining towns weren't ruined by immigrants stealing jobs, or blacks abusing affirmative action.

Taking down a statue of a white guy, and replacing it with a black woman, is just part of the distraction. Pure theater for the masses to squabble over.

My grandpa once said to me politics was like professional wrestling. They act like they are at each others throats, but they're all in on it together in the end, it's all an act.

Not advocating for Tubman but Jackson was a POS genocidal maniac. I think all human images should be removed from money, what's the point? Presidents weren't on money before the 20th century, neither they, or anyone else, should be now.

Jacky Kennedy did nothing. Why people elevates her to this greatness I don’t know.

Jacky can’t even come close to what Tubman did or stood for.

Jacky Kennedy at the end of day was the same woman that stood next to a husband that was ****ing multiple women. Monroe being the most famous. She was a dutiful wife that choose power above all else.

Though I disagree with Tubman replacing Jackson, but let’s not go overboard by putting her in the same light as Tubman.

If Tubman is Superman, Jacky is a flea.

Agree wholeheartedly, that’s why I no longer follow politics. I got into politics in the Obama era because I wanted to educate myself, then after watching, I realize both sides are same.

I've personally no idea who she is, to me dollars, sterling and euro's are just different currencies I use to facilitate life. Who gives a shit what is on currency. I use my debit and credit cards more than cash.

I'd say the only valid reason to change who is on our currency is if we're getting rid of people being on currency all together. It should not be to replace someone else, that's just virtue signaling.

ON the thread, yes, Jackson was a fairly terrible person. Badass, but terrible. I wouldn't mouth off to him even when he started getting old...he was tough as nails.

Tubman is a much better choice.
