Nah, it was just a bad strawman.

Glad you agree with that notion, though. 👆

So you just whine just to whine then? Good to know.

The next time I read a comic, I want to see Superman saving everyone with a smile on his face, while battling the villains, and not killing them like he did with Braniac, Doomsday, not trapping Darkseid in the source wall, and all that Jazz.

If Clark doesn’t do any of those things, he’s not Superman.

Did you finish school?

He didn't.

That's why he likes Superman.

If you read comics with the same difficulty that you read comments then it's not surprising that you don't get what Superman stands for now tbh. 👇

This site is so phucking broken. Now even modifying one post is a give or take that it'll work properly...

Careful Adam. You never know when Rexxx might actually get dragged back here.

Says the man who’s Avatar is one of the biggest bitches in manga/anime history. Always demanding, bitching and crying.

And what does Superman stands for again? Don’t worry, you don’t have to answer, pretty sure you’re one of those that thinks Clark is all sunshine and roses.

Pretty sure he stands for truth, justice, and the American way. Have you ever even read a Superman comic? 😬

Eh, he probably *saw* through them. That's close enough. 👆

So definitely no issue with shooting people down then.

He also stood for beating the shits out of muggers, wife beaters and nazis.

I like that fact that we nitpick what he stands for.

facepalm

No one cares for these characters anymore. Love that my team won. My guy Thanos just teabagged the box office.

TBH, I’m not the least bit interested.
Love that most people have given up and moved on.

Darkseid's one of the most iconic villains of all time, but I have zero faith Synder can deliver and do him any kind of justice.

To a small niche audience, sure. We are the minority but I doubt anyone they put in place save abrams could pull Darkseid off. They screwed Snyder over but now everything is just kind of everywhere. It is a real mess.

Synder's just not good with this franchise.

Look who he cast for Lex Luthor, another top-tier iconic villain and Superman's archvillain and we get a sickly looking asperger-y millennial who whined the role through. Mark Strong was available, not only is he a good actor who can do that brutal cunning calculating coldness, but as an added bonus he also looks like the comic counterpart in many adaptations.

I agree Snyder had poor miscastings such as Luthor. Henry was a great casting for Superman despite my hatred of the character I can admit it worked. Doomsday and his death were fumbled. The extended cut was far better so I believe the execs helped make it even worse with their run time antics. Firing him mid film is awful and we get a jumbled incoherent mess with awful cgi and a huge budget due to the reshoots.

Abrams would be great imo to head off the dceu if he directed a few films. If that does occur it will be so many years later but better late than never I suppose.

Doomsday's origin in BvS was a complete mess as well.

Not seen the extended cut, so don't want to sit through another 2hrs of that BvS shit.

It is a lot better but it does not make it into a masterpiece.
