I mostly agree with this. The biggest problem is her abuse of power as a teacher.
I'd say 2-5 years, depending on how multiple mental health professionals evaluate her. Again, she wanted to get into teaching prisoners which is a much better use of her time and definitely improves society as a whole. Helping inmates learn and reintegrate into society is a win-win. Gets her away from underage students and contributing to overall societal improvement.

No, you actually do have a good point. Sometimes, incarceration is protecting both society and the individual from society. Unlike in some of the other cases similar to this one, you didn't read about systematic manipulation with text message examples. Those were the words of the parents, not the prosecutor.
