It's an incredibly shitty feeling when someone treats you as if you either don't belong here in the US or are somehow less American than they are, especially when you've lived here most, if not all, of your life.

It doesn't happen to me often. I imagine that's only because I look mean and I've got a heavy build, but I'm pretty sure it would be a much more frequent thing if I were smaller, darker, or had an accent. When it has happened to me, it has been much more indirect, like an offhand comment about my ethnic background that I was expected to laugh at and shrug off, or someone would start to unload their racist bullshit on me while not realizing that I'm Latino.

I've kept my cool each time, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if, in their minds, I was the assh*le for cutting them off and telling them why they were full of shit.

That said, f*ck Trump for his racist comments about Representatives Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib, and Pressley needing to go back to where they came from. They're as American as the rest of us.

Three of them are American born and Omar's been a US citizen longer than Trump's mail-order wife Melania.

Here is the thing:

Omar is not like Ayaan Hirsi Ali (I've read her book btw; seems like a lovely lady; too bad the media doesn't cover her anymore as she doesn't fit their agenda) who is also Somali, was subject to the atrocities of female genital mutilation, beatings, arranged marriages, etc; who abandoned her family to flee to Europe; who now openly condemns Islam; and who makes it clear how much she loves Western society.

Omar is a disrespectful **** who comes to America by marrying her brother, commits tax evasion, and then b1tches about how much this country sucks...all while wearing lipstick and holding a public office she would be stoned to death for in Somali-land.

How much of an idiot and ungrateful prick do you have to be to do this?

Most people would be like "oh wow I get to hold public office in this country, do the things I want, etc, I love this country!"

But does Omar does this? No.

So yeah, she should go back and try to make Somalia "great" first before complaining about America.

And everyone here knows that I'm not a die-hard USA fan by any means.

Democracy is overrated.

Please

go home

Please let the record note that Eternal Idol is not allowed to leave the US. We want his taxes and clean criminal record to stay here with us.

😂

Hey, if any of that goes toward Fly & Co.'s rehab, then it's money well spent.

Yeah, but details like that don't seem to matter to Trump, the vast majority of Republicans in office, right-wing media pundits, or his supporters. He's feeding the retarded-ass fire of over-the-top national pride and the notion of white supremacy. For a lot of these people, they are not mutually exclusive ideas, and they can go f*ck themselves.

Wasn't Trump's entire 2016 election campaign based on complaining about how shit he thought America had become?

Eh, most people seemed to recognize he was mistaken to say they were all from another country.

That's not the same as recognizing that he suggested they did not belong or that they are somehow less American, and is wrong for having done so.

Pretty much. Trump claimed that our factories were complete shit, our schools were the worst, our airports I believe he said where like "3rd world country airports"; which was especially odd, that we didn't win anything any more and the grievances went on and on and he alone could fit it all.

So it seems it's okay to shit on America if Trump does it.

Fair enough.

In fairness, they've been around since the war of independence, remember.

People on the internet arguing about people they will never meet or see😂

Tim Pool accusing Trump of being a calculating genius. 😂

Something about how moderates don't like the four, the establishment wanted to keep them out of the spotlight, and Trumps actions kind of thrust them into it.

YouTube video

Hyperbole warning, Tim Pool video.

That's a 22 minute video, do you have the timestamp to make things easier?

He does that through the entire video. 🙂

Literally any five minutes, but try the first five.

It's less Tim saying Trump is truly intelligent and more talking about how gullible people are to constantly take the bait of Trumps trolling. Tim correctly points out that the media spent the week melting down over tweets that impact nobody while not focusing very much on policy decisions that have real world impacts:

Trump administration announces major crackdown on asylum seekers

I think most of the time Trump doesn't do shit like this on purpose and he just stumbles into it, but I do think sometimes he does take advantage of the media.

However, I don't think doing that requires one have above average intelligence.

Well this is certainly a better route to take. There is nothing racist about "if you don't love America, leave it". Yet there seems to be evidence of hypocrisy here.
