The constant jokes undercutting any kind of emotion or tension is a problem some had with the first one

Yes. Tonal mess.

Waititi does make entertaining films, but he's looney tunes crazy.

You need to be in the mood for it.

Seeing this tomorrow.

I just read the synopsis on Wikipedia.

*yawn*

Same. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst. The trailers have all looked very poor.

My guess is if it does poorly and gets slaughtered by fans and critics Waititi will get his Star Wars offer pulled.

seeing friday or saturday

I'll see it next week, I'm in no rush.

This was ok.

Movie feels kinda like Ragnarok not as good however.

Sometimes the comedy feels forced.

This film was really bad... really bad.

That was very bad too, even Spiderman was quite bad

😂

Keep it up and nobody's gonna treat you seriously, Whirl!

Like you yourself said, you've only genuinely enjoyed Iron Man 1 😉

Its obvious the Best phase 4 movie has been Morbius so far...

Well this wasn't good.

Christian Bale and Russell Crowe were both excellent.
The 1st fight in the shadow realm was excellent
The soundtrack was excellent (although I'm a massive GnR fan so I'm biased)
I liked the references to Event Horizon
The rest of it is an utter train wreck. The humour almost never lands and it is used in almost every scene.
The Jean Claude Van Damme reference is just stupid.
Thor's costume is utterly ridiculous looking.
Korg being gay and meeting a 'dude' called Dwayne (who's a rock)...*tumbleweed rolls by

Very poor effort.

My friend told me he liked it, but hes not a reputable source.

Remind me how Asgard is now on earth?
