This (along with several other snippets) does not fit the narrative that Trump did absolutely nothing wrong.[B]Buck asked Mueller why he and his team did not make a calculation on whether or not the president obstructed justice, to which Mueller reiterated that the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel says that a sitting president cannot be indicted.
Buck charged back, saying: “When it came to obstruction, you threw a bunch of stuff against the wall to see what would stick. And that is fundamentally unfair.” Mueller said he “would not agree to that characterization at all” and told Buck that they had duly provided the attorney general with a confidential memo outlining their understanding of the case. He said again that the president could not be charged with a crime.
That’s when Buck asked if Mueller “could charge the president with a crime after he left office.”
Mueller replied: “Yes.”
“You believe that he committed – you could charge the president of the United States with obstruction after he left,” Buck asked again.
“Yes,” Mueller responded. He explained to Buck, again, the OLC’s opinion on prosecuting a sitting president.
“Nonetheless, he can continue the investigation to see if there are any other persons who might be drawn into the conspiracy,” Mueller said, getting the last word, as Buck’s time expired.

Trumpers know Trump's crooked and broke the law, they just don't care, only thing that matters is that he's able to get away with it somehow.

Nah, what us "Trumpers" know is that his re-election in 2020 is pretty much a given at this point. The only real "crime" Trump committed was whipping Hillary in the election in 2016 and that is totally unforgiveable... right, robbie? 😛

My rightist friends, what are your thoughts?
So now that it's been a few days and Mueller's words have been dissected, we've learned two things:
-Trump and the Trump campaign directly benefited from Russian assistance, the Trump campaign welcomed it and then lied about it later to cover it up. (This sounds a whole lot like the collusion we've heard about)
-Trump tried on multiple occasions to interfere with the investigation, by ordering other people to do so (This sounds a whole lit like the obstruction we've heard about)
Trump will get away with it.

It's already been noted Mueller said he could be charged once he's out of office, this isn't the same as saying he committed a crime or not.
The first part of Buck's question to Mueller was whether he thought Trump had committed a crime. He caught himself and rephrased his question to whether or not Trump could be prosecuted for obstruction after leaving office.
Mueller answered yes. Even if he was only responding to the reworded question, they were not speaking hypothetically about obstruction crimes committed. Mueller stated multiple times that these things happened, but he could not prosecute Trump due to the OLC opinion that a sitting president could not be prosecuted.
I agree with Robtard: that crooked f*ckhead Trump will likely get away with it.

He never said Trump committed a crime. Being charged with a crime doesn't always result in a guilty verdict. Not sure why this needs to be said.

Lol that doesn't sound the collusion story that has been pushed on us for years, but hey: take the win where you can get it 👆

It sounds just like it. Russia helped Trump win and they accepted it and then lied about it.
You completely sidestepped the obstruction part, the criminal aspect. Which is expected from a Trumper.

Lol the narrative has been that Trump was working with Putin and the russians.
But hey, on this day of days in this week of weeks, I shall allow you to interpret it however you choose 👆

Investigators do not make claims of guilt or innocence. Those are determinations made by judges or juries. Investigators only state whether there is sufficient evidence that an individual committed a crime. I do not know why this needs to be said. If Trump did not commit a crime, then he does not have to worry about being indicted once he is no longer in office, right? How confident are you that is the case? Would you like to place a wager on it?

Keep dodging the obstruction of justice, the felony.

It's not the narrative we've been given for 2 years. Like I said: I will let you pretend it was if you want to, I can see you're in need of some sort of victory.

Once Trump is out of office these same people will wash their hands of Trump with a quickness that will make your head spin. "Never really supported him, I knew he was a crook and a conman."
