Eh, I think you could argue that most of the Elite are legit heralds. Apart from that, as rare as it is he has in the past taken on teams of heralds, sure. He's has teams of heroes sent against him either because they were brainwashed or he was/they thought he was. And he's had his own villains team up in the past to take him on (and I don't mean the b and c list ones).
As to whether he'd beat this team... Eh, on average, I would like to say the team would take it, but with the way DC treats Superman now, anything is possible.
