Well Im going to use his best feats. You can bring up his lower end feats if you think it helps you to prove his limitations. I will be posting clips to prove Thanoss limitations.
But as long as we are using On Screen Feats, then by default its in character. If you believe its not in character, then its for you to prove that given hes done that feat On Screen.
Also you should note standard KMC versus forum rules are In Character BUT Fighting at their best. The example of the Flash getting hit sometimes is specifically noted in the comic book versus forum rules as PIS.

Pis is a subjective interpretation that ignores 80 percent of the flashs showings in favor of a make believe version on the forum where the minority of the feats only count.
When they fight Thanos is going to win based off the feats and tendencies of both characters. I am supremely confident their portrayals support my conclusion.
So characters fighting to destroy their opponent. Characters fight at their Peak but In Character.
Weapons:
Sword and armour for Thanos.
Heat Vision and Freeze Breath for Superman 😛
Both characters have an idea of who they are facing and what they are capable of.
If these stips are all agreed we will officially agree the structure of the battlezone.
Oh and power scaling allowed (obviously). But that doesnt mean feats are interchangeable.
For example if Spider-Man can lift a tank then obviously Thanos can having proven himself to be massively stronger than Spider-Man, but that doesnt suddenly mean Thanos would beat Mysterio in a fight because Spider-Man did (not saying he wouldnt but explaining the difference between logical power scaling and inter changing feats between characters).
