Where loaded language is consistently used.

Please cite specific examples. It shouldn't be hard since you said "consistently."

Nice preaching to the Choir DDM.

Are you one of the members in this choir example? I specifically reject that notion because you singled out Trump in the OP for stating something obvious about Baltimore specifically because of the large black population. Calling attention to issues that are harmful to the black community is not racist. Calling it racist is actually racist, as I've demonstrated in my examples. The best thing someone like Trump can do is continue to call out deplorable and unacceptable situations like in Baltimore so that the racist Democrats cannot hide it anymore.

Please clarify this statement as I may be wrong about what you meant by it. 👆

Agreed a statement which describes an event doesn't need to be.

Regardless of any problems in Baltimore, timing, context and language are very different. But you know that.

Yes, it seems like Bernie's language was much harsher. Probably because his emotions are in it because he seems to genuinely care about the black community (his resume for trying to help the black community is pretty dang long).

But you likely intended the opposite of what I just stated because you trollin'.

Interesting time for Trump to do this, with a mayor he hates their and the campaign headquarters for one of those he suggested should ho home... Do I hear a dog whistle? Yeah, most people do.

Truth hurts, eh? Surtur speaks the truth.

Not really, I never said Surt was wrong with his point. If you agree with Surtur's point then you agree with mine. Was just having a laugh with him with my, 'No you' remark, Surt never seems to take that kind of banter too seriously.

My only real knowledge of Baltimore comes from the TV show The Wire and odd little bits here and there, I think Louis Theroux did a doc about it once. It really does seem like one of those places that's been abandoned by the government for quite some time, leaving it in a state of 'managed decline' to paraphrase Thatcher (and Hitler too supposedly).

It's quite awesome that Trump is calling out terrible Democratic leaders for their terrible leadership which can only be described as racist and incompetent.

But you and I both know he's doing this for election purposes.

He talked about this stuff in 2016, 2017, and was silent on it for almost all of 2018 and most of 2019. 👆

The guy attacked Pelosi and her district too. It's almost like he has a history of doing this regardless of the race of the person. Shocking!

You are like Tim Pool DDM, so you see no correlation with "Elijah's" comments on Trump and his comments? Interesting... You also see no racist dog whistling or riff on a theme? Equally interesting.

Baltimore, an historic port city, presents a mixed picture, with both handsome and affluent neighbourhoods and large poverty-stricken districts. It has one of the country's highest murder rates.

Hah, not really the image you want to paint of a city you're trying to defend.

They're essentially saying "Hey, it's not so bad! The very rich have their gated communities!"

I love that it's the left whose ears always seem to pick up these "racist dog whistles".

No doubt the right pick them up to. But why would they do anything but choose to deny them?

The title of the article linked in the OP: "Outrage as Trump brands mostly black Baltimore 'infested mess'"

Trump's actual quote: "Cummings District is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess"

Does anyone else think this is dishonest reporting? Because the title kinda makes it sound like he's saying Baltimore is infested with black people as opposed to him clearly saying it has an actual rodent problem.

Yeah, that headline is click baity.

I see a correlation between election cycles.

You didn't? Interesting.

This is what the media-integrity law should address. I proposed a system for this.

If the site got a F3 rating (the lowest rating that is on the same level as tabloids) for stuff like this, you'd see them clean up their act quite quickly.

There's supposed to be non-partisan watchdog groups for that.

I believe the same groups had a leaked memo on "steps to impeach Trump" in 2016, well before the election.

I'm not surprised.

That's Tom Jones Syndrome.

Not for anyone who isn't a rightist or enabler.
