So, the data from the site those in the media were using shows us several things. First, since 2016 mass shootings have gone down, as have the number of victims. Also, in 2019 Chicago has had the most mass shootings(it's maga country, so I'm betting a majority of those were white supremacists) aaaand that the site has recently been tracking defensive gun usage and so far this year the number of DGU's is double that of mass shootings.
That final talking point, anyone seen the media mention it?
EDIT: Oh shit, a point needs to be made! They only started tracking DGU's in April of this year. So between just April and today we have DGU's that double the number of mass shootings from the entire year. And these are just the documented ones.
