I got tix for a Thursday preview for this.

Some of the early hype convinced me to see it on the big screen.

Scott Adkins looks like fat Ronaldo.

I've never heard of Scott Adkins.

I heard a really good interview with Clancy Brown this afternoon on NPR. He's in this. I've actually never seen Highlander. I of course know him the best from Shawshank Redemption and Starship Troopers. He does a lot of voice acting too. I never would have guessed that he's done a voice for SpongeBob Square Pants all these years.

He's a solid martial arts actor and has done some brutal action films over the years.

This is getting some impressive early reactions. I'm trying not to get TOO hyped about it. I still expect some over the top cartoonishness, but that's honestly most big blockbusters these days. I will say that I was quite impressed with Chapter 3's upped action and stunt work. They were clearly having a blast making it. I hope to rewatch 3 soon.
