While I mostly agree with this, some people have seen success, do bang hot chicks, and openly talk about both. Contrary to popular internet belief, many people who brag about those things really do those things and it makes haters on the internet upset about it.

Also, if my employers thought I lied, they would have caught me by now fudging my experience and credentials. 🙂 These days, it is quite stupid to try and lie about your credentials when HR systems can quickly verify all your stuff.
