I am assuming since Fredo is now a racist word. The movie will need to be taken off the top 100 movies of all time. And all copies need to be burned, and all proceeds from the movie need to be repaid as reparations to the Italians?

Wow had know idea that this was actually a thing....kinda sad. John Cazale was a phenomenal actor. Not just his work in Godfather, but The Deer Hunter and Dog Day Afternoon.

I agree it is a bit overrated. Still good but burning as hell sometimes.

It's a well made movie, I just don't find it engaging at all. It has the same problem that almost all mob movies have for me (besides Goodfellas and Casino), and that's that I just find all the characters obnoxious and annoying and have no sympathy for them and want them to die.

The Godfather is 10/10 amazing to me.

Part II is good but definitely not better.

I just don't like mob movies in general. Goodfellas is amazing. Casino is fun.

In the Sopranos they did a great job with Tony Soprano, he was a really compelling and sympathetic character, I hated everyone else though.
