Hal Jordan vs Thor & Hulk

...and?

Again. Samson took several, SEVERAL punches from a guy who throws heralds off just by flexing. A blast does....what exactly to such a guy?

Even when drugged, how does that affect his durability? The gap between the two are so vast, unless we're now arguing the Redeemer fired a Celestial busting gun or something at him...

Maybe it fires a thousand calibur like Burbank's gun. Still an apples to oranges comparison.

Even a thousand calibre is nothing, or should be nothing, to a guy who stands up to several Immortal Hulk punches.

Remember, Immortal Hulk is the guy who's so powerful, Jane Thor AND Hercules were simultaneously thrown off by him flexing.

Um saint not sure where you are going with this, but Devil Hulk didn't fight Samson. Savage Hulk did. Devil Hulk reverts to his savage persona when under extreme duress. Make note of his speech patterns.

Samson bracing himself could played a part in saving his life (he didnt brace against the Redeemer), but I am probably just splitting hairs.

Hulk was brain-damaged at the time.

It most likely affected his striking power to a significant degree.

Or we're going to ignore that big hole in Huk's head, courtesy of Bushwacker? 😛

Considering IH can roll around whilst cut into pieces, yes, lol.

Took him a while to come back to his senses and recognize Samson.

Such illogic and inconsistency are just the nature of comics. When characters heal fast or come back to life, their invulnerability is written down and vulnerability to piercing is often written significantly greater than vulnerability to blunt trauma. So that's why I say that it's an apples to oranges comparison.

A random girl repeatedly sticks a knife into Thanos (though it as no effect), yet Namor breaks all of his knuckles punching him. Comic books.

It was not a punch either AND he was drugged. The trolling is strong here.

the fact that it wasn't even Devil Hulk that fought Samson.

Good post.

But.

That particular example you've used to illustrate your point is not good, as that was Thanos before his most notable upgrade. Before Death took interest in him and altered him. Pre-Thanos Quest.

It's crazy. Batman JUST survived an attack and was up and talking while the rest of the League was koed. Then, Darkseid who doesnt hold back attacked Batman as well and Batman wasnt killed after said attack but people rank him above trans tier. Aquaman endured a punch from Darkseid. Wonder Woman. Flash lived from an attack.

I wonder where the 'Hulk is Hulk' brigade is 😂 Carver literally has it in his sig. That's the usual argument they use.

And now, suddenly, 'oh it's a different Hulk, Hulk isn't Hulk!!'

Aren't you the guy who argued Superman wasn't MFTL when he hit WF, because the League was able to see him? Crazy.

Saint, wait you think I literally just made that up? It was literally specifically stated IN THE COMIC...

Immortal Hulk is not a Hulk personality, It's just the name of the comic book. There is more than one personality of Immortal Hulk.

The fact you don't know that is hilarious

Is Hulk not Hulk?

@Alberto: I am referring to Carver's argument that Hulk is Hulk. If you're not part of it, then you shouldn't try to jump in without knowing the context of why I am saying that.
