😆 😆 🤣 😆 😆 lmao.

Robbie is just so darn frustrated that he's goin' to all this trouble to show just how bad orange man is and yet those of us who continue to support Trump aren't paying him any mind. He's tryin' so hard. Bless his wittle heart lol.

Go to Amazon and buy a book of witty comebacks, Aretha.

Sqwak! Impy is a Cracker!

There's another darker layer to this story it seems. There are high 10's of thousands retired coal miners getting a monthly stipend (average of $1,000.00 it seems) and medical benefits from the coal miner's pension fun, of which Murray Energy is the largest contributor.

By filing for bankruptcy, Murray Energy can now legally not pay into that pension fund anymore as they technically 'have no money to spare'. Murray Energy is also just one of 14 coal mining companies who have filed this year alone.

Fear not though, Robert E. Murray is still a high-end millionaire at least; Trump's buddy is safe.

Congress Saves Coal Miner Pensions, but What About Others?

Lawmakers will use taxpayer money to fill a roughly $10 billion hole in the miners’ doomed fund. But more plans face the same problems.

The $1.4 trillion spending bill passed by Congress last week quietly achieves what a parade of select committees and coordinating councils could not: rescue a dying pension fund that is the lifeblood of nearly 100,000 retired coal miners. -snip

So the US taxpayer will be bailing out the coal miners instead of the coal industry. This is the reason Murray Coal filed for bankruptcy, to get out of paying their dues. #maga

Do...do right-wingers understand that this is socialism? This is literally anti-capitalistic in the most direct way possible.

This goes against everything the right-wingers believe in. How can any justify this?

If it's socialism the left should love it. They should get f*cking boners just reading the story.

The story is over a month old though. Hey DDM, what happened recently regarding Donald Trump that you feel would cause someone to post a month old story intended to make Trump look bad? Any thoughts?

Being liberal does not necessarily mean you are for socialism. A moderate Liberal for example would be in favor of impose restrictions on companies with unfunded pension plans that cannot be as easily written off with a Chapter 11. Tbh, anyone in favor of capitalism would be in favor of something closer to those lines. Maximizing the productivity of workers and reducing unemployment, through tighter regulations on corporations, isn't anti-capitalist.

I believe I said left not liberal.

Yep, there's a pretty significant difference between being left and being liberal lol.

Many republicans have to pander to coal miners because they rule a few right wing states, and if the coal miners were to vote dem in those states the republicans would lose control of the senate. And coal miners don't mind accepting socialism as long as it benefits them and only them, as is the case for most people. Socialism for me, hamstrung capitalism for thee.

^Bumps a topic with a month old story due to being butthurt over recent events then makes this accusation.

El oh El.

"Poisoning the well" doesn't mean what you think it means.

The thread title is still funny.

It's clever.

F*ck you guys. uhuh

Thank you.

That clever humor managed to hurt three Trumpers' feelings. So sensitive.
